Air-clinic contest.",<br>"body":"*Firstly,<br> I want to give thanks to God for the gift of life and @air-clinic for this contest*\n\nWhat is lassa fever?\n Lassa fever is a viral hemorrhagic fever caused by lassa virus transmitted by a multimammate rat called **mastomys natelensis**\n![IMG_20180228_192630_573.JPG (https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/hpiynhbhq\/image\/upload\/v1519846811\/ubpgn4d80bz8piqn3jqp.jpg)\n\n**My Story**\nI know of a doctor,<br> but maybe never thought it would happen to him and in the widest of my horrific dreams,<br> never imagine loosing my life in trying to save that of another,<br> that of course it would not only be unjust remuneration,<br> but totally cruel.\nHe was a medical graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka class of 2016 who had dreams that was cut short because of lassa fever.\nHe was an intern in Kogi state teaching hospital,<br> he was on call that night when a mother brought her 7 months old child that presented with high grade fever and bloody diarrhoea.\nHe attended to the patient and after his contact with that patient,<br> he started having headache which I know for sure,<br> was way beyond the conventional case dissolved by taking mere analgesics.
