This bustling metropolis is one of the most visited cities in Europe so it comes as no surprise that some parts of it are literally bursting at the seams with tourists. %0A%0AYet,
the Czech capital also boasts numerous beautiful natural places where you can get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some nice peace and quiet. And this is what my today%C2%B4s post will be about :) %0A%0AI spent a couple of years in the city,
during which I often escaped from the noisy streets to less chaotic and greener places and in this post,
I would like to share these little hidden gems of Prague with you. I will show you 15 natural places that can be found right in the city and all of them will be illustrated with photos that I took at those particular spots but some of the shots were taken years ago,
with old crappy cameras so please excuse the poor quality of some of the images. %0A%0A%5B\/\/%5D:# (!steemitworldmap 50.067002 lat 14.458008 long Beauties of Czech Republic: 15 green natural places in Prague d3scr)%0A***%0A%0A**Divok%C3%A1 %C5%A0%C3%A1rka**%0A%0A!%5B1.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmfAVfpv3TisPfwSPbKSiNqjEHbcAnMTeoM43VKXLDcDuN)%0A%0A%0ASituated in the north-western part of Prague,
Divok%C3%A1 %C5%A0%C3%A1rka is a beautiful nature reserve and one of my very favorite places in the city. Occupying a total area of over 25 ha,
the reserve is famous for impressive rock formations,
dense forests and picturesque valleys that are home to diverse fauna and flora.%0A***%0A%0A**T%C5%99e%C5%A1%C5%88ovka**%0A%0A!%5B2.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmZahxGZLbaJL3wWifXjCmEFUapLRt1JYikzxodGCNEXNt)%0A%0A%0AT%C5%99e%C5%A1%C5%88ovka would translate as %22the cherry hill%22 and the reason is obvious - this hill is covered with over a thousand of cherry trees,
making it a very romantic place - especially in spring when the trees are in blossom. T%C5%99e%C5%A1%C5%88ovka is located in the Prague neighborhood of Hrdlo%C5%99ezy and I used to visit this place very often when I was living in nearby Libe%C5%88. %0A***%0A%0A**Pr%C5%AFhonice Park**%0A%0A!%5B3.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmaUpPXbt8ADbDkQNXe1taiVNhkLtLE6RNPvHwVZrUiULy)%0A%0A%0AWith a total area of some 220 ha,
the Pr%C5%AFhonice Park is one of the largest chateau parks in the country. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012,
the park is mainly famous for two things - the Pr%C5%AFhonice Chateau and the extensive botanical collection that includes over 1,
600 species of trees and shrubs,
most notably rhododendrons. %0A***%0A%0A**Hostiva%C5%99 Dam**%0A%0A!%5B4.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmPrRMcm8VTTM2EnyDxMjAhAjiX7EhP2hx7gTX1W93c681)%0A%0A%0ASituated in the south-eastern part of Prague,
the Hostiva%C5%99 Dam is the largest body of water in the city (at 42 ha). The dam is a popular spot for wild swimming in summer but it is worth a visit in any season of the year as it is surrounded by lush forests interwoven with a network of great hiking and cycling trails. %0A***%0A%0A**D%C3%ADv%C4%8D%C3%AD Hrady**%0A%0A!%5B5.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmSfVy4KuNbsCB9NrU6wrpSZBnHsRphQgfPBEvZffwroUn)%0A%0A%0AD%C3%ADv%C4%8D%C3%AD Hrady is a little hilly area located on the border between the Prague neighborhoods of Sm%C3%ADchov and Radlice. Since the place is quite elevated,
it offers some nice panoramic views of the city but this shot depicts the other side - picturesque fields with bundles of straw and the waterworks tower in the background. %0A***%0A%0A**Stromovka**%0A%0A!%5B6.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmYM7DpCgYJWHjjGe21iUQKF8CogE5BdoF5LTrZYYLjLNW)%0A%0A%0AWith over 100 ha,
Stromovka is one of the largest parks in Prague. It is situated in the Bubene%C4%8D neighborhood,
not too far from the city center,
which is also why it is sometimes referred to as %22the Prague Central Park%22. Definitely one of the greenest places in the city with a very relaxed atmosphere. %0A***%0A%0A**Prokop Valley**%0A%0A!%5B7.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmUewfW9Tv4Fa4ghQNDCgkuPZsdB5qv4zNipDAj9X71iPd)%0A%0A%0AThe Prokop Valley is a breathtaking piece of wilderness found in south-western Prague. The place has a status of nature reserve and it is famous as an important archaeological and palaeontological site. The landscape of the Prokop Valley is very diverse but unfortunately,
I only have this photo of a little lake that I captured there a couple of years ago. %0A***%0A%0A**St. Wenceslas Vineyard** %0A%0A!%5B8.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmQQb8y76SWFpRpScSfiHTfGdnXv9DZeLTede6c5BtRQM5)%0A%0A%0AYes,
even Prague has its vineyards. This one is called the St. Wenceslas Vineyard and it can be found right within the complex of the Prague Castle in the very historic center of the city. Built between 1966 and 1971,
the reservoir is located right next to the Divok%C3%A1 %C5%A0%C3%A1rka Nature Reserve,
which means it is also surrounded by some stunning natural landscapes. %0A***%0A%0A**Podvin%C3%AD Park**%0A%0A!%5B10.jpg%5D(https:\/\/ipfs.busy.org\/ipfs\/QmbUhTUbddHkMdq1TTG6o2L7ivc3ATmzvj53sFnM7rzXJs)%0A%0A%0AThe Podvin%C3%AD Park is one of the smallest and youngest parks in Prague but it is practically unknown to tourists so it is rarely crowded.
