Another record label found interest on her,<br> and she was signed. Ted learned about it,<br> and he did something to sabotage Brenda's career by spying on her records. When she was about to release her new song,<br> Ted released a song for Jean ahead of Brenda's upcoming new song,<br> which features a rapper also on Brenda's upcoming new song. She felt as if being betrayed by her ex-husband,<br> and the rapper she featured on her upcoming song. \n\nBut Brenda is prepared,<br> instead of releasing the song with the rapper,<br> she rushed to write and recorded the song with the lyrics about his manipulative ex-husband. In the song,<br> she's the only artist. It was released as her new single,<br> and kicked Jean's new song from its throne. People bought the ideas on Brenda's new song. \n\nThe war with his ex began with Brenda decided to release her new album coninciding with Jean's album's release date. There are surveys released that people are voting for Brenda's album. Their albums would be released exactly a day before the Grammy. \n\nBrenda,<br> then had secret talks with Grammy producers for a surprise performance. Ted was unfazed on the surveys,<br> and did everything to promote Jean's album. He even paid others to sabotage Brenda by bringing out fake surveys,<br> and paying people to dislike Brenda's music videos on YouTube,<br> as well as negatively commenting against Brenda in social media. \n\nThe first day of the two albums' release has pretty close sales numbers. At the Grammys,<br> Jean opened the show,<br> and she received standing ovation. Ted cheered for her. In the middle of the show,<br> a surprise performance was announced,<br> with a video in the beginning which shows a woman with her face not shown. There's a story revealed about the woman's life with another man. The name of the man wasn't mentioned,<br> but it implies Ted. \n\nThe audience is astounded,<br> and after the video,<br> the light starts to appear on the dark stage,<br> and began to show Brenda's face. She sang a new song,<br> a ballad. Then the music slowly becoming fast paced for Brenda to dance and sing with an upbeat song. Then,<br> the stage turned dark with another video appeared with butterflies flying,<br> until she appeared again to sing the climax of her ballad song. After her performance,<br> the audience stood up for giving her standing ovation for few minutes. After her performance,<br> her album took the lead with huge gap against Jean's album. \n\nAt the end of the week's sales,<br> Brenda sold about 3 million copies in sales,<br> with Jean behind with 300,<br>000 copies.
