You get me\" he said\nand he quickly rushed out the door,<br>\n\nI stood there and watched him,<br>\nSpeechless,<br> I love that man but\nhe doesn't love me that way,<br>\nI know the next scene to this\nmovie where he avoids my calls\nfor the next six months,<br>\nHe waits for the seventh month\nto come back and apologize and\nI would pretend like nothing happened,<br>\nFor I believe that,<br>\n\"I'm the peace of the terror he finds\nin another woman,<br> the respect he\ngets from me,<br> he'll never find it\nin another woman,<br> I'm his comfort,<br>\nThe only river that flows in his stream,<br>\"\n\nI stood there not being able to\nmove,<br> mama came rushing the\ndoor,<br>\n\"Hey baby I just saw John with\nanother woman and they looked\nhappy,<br>\"\n\"I know mama,<br> I know,<br>\" I quietly spoke,<br>\n\"But why do you allow him to hurt\nyou like this?
