My son has excellent taste so,
of course,
she wins my nod of approval and was welcomed with open arms...

---

![Mjølner - A Viking Themed Restaurant (https://i.imgur.com/vhbCpPi.jpg)

[Mjølner (Sydney) (https://mjolner.com.au/sydney)
[Mjølner (Melbourne) (https://mjolner.com.au/melbourne)

---

![Enjoying the local Mead and my weapon of choice (https://i.imgur.com/xjrvPWX.jpg)

---

![12 y.o. While I was never in any danger,
I definitely felt my age and found myself,
very aware of voices wafting from 'the shadows' or from 'the other side of the hedges'...

Although,
I still managed to have a little fun...

---

!['PUNK' IS NOT DEAD...! (https://i.imgur.com/FBzFzwx.png)

---

One snippet that I did take-away from my mini photo-tour,
is to spend ~~some~~ 'a lot' more time learning how to use the manual settings on my camera and to experiment with shooting with different settings in dark,
night-time scenes.

In many photos,
the atmosphere was ruined by having the flash trigger when I didn't want it to or when I had envisioned the 'mood' without a flash... sometimes it produced a better result,
and sometimes NOT...

---

![One of the 'better' flash shots (https://i.imgur.com/SwJHxTY.png)

---

Being born and bred in Sydney... it's a city that will always retain it's charm and beauty in my eyes. Part of that charm comes from abundance of older buildings scattered among modern design,
however the feeling of nostalgia is only enhanced by the features that have survived and are still displayed throughout the city and parks of Sydney.

---

![Drinking Fountain,
Hyde Park,
Sydney (https://i.imgur.com/VuJGaTE.jpg)

---

![Older-style light fittings (https://i.imgur.com/c4XlftI.jpg)

---

Anyhoo,
it was a great weekend get-together,
enjoyed by all parties... and I was extremely grateful to,
not only spend time with my children but to also meet the lady who has put such a proud smile on my son's face.

Needless to say,
I returned home feeling VERY FULL,
VERY CONTENT and VERY HAPPY..!

https://i.imgur.com/u7Do3Kd.png

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post,
I really do appreciate your time.
### And remember to keep smiling,
it makes people wonder what you're thinking...!
https://i.imgur.com/VBf96Pj.png

If you enjoyed reading my post,
please follow,
comment and upvote.
All photos,
stories and graphics are my own work unless otherwise noted.
https://i.imgur.com/nPCnREd.png

https://i.imgur.com/u7Do3Kd.png

Proudly representing

https://i.imgur.com/WGuBGxi.png

https://i.imgur.com/u7Do3Kd.png

Proud supporter of @steeming-hot

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdCimXD2sHmZFpicaiPQvLwHc8T9mbn1PmU5f9QgbsT4M/steeming-hot-bot_small.png

",
"app":"pruner",
"message":"See you on the other side!" "
