See below for more info.

As you will no doubt have noticed,
from my previous posts,
the Regency architecture around Brighton and Hove tends to be fairly uniform in it's construction.

However,
every now and again you come across a house such as this one that has a curved rather than flat facade. Is this just a preference the architect has or does it have some other significance?

I carried out some research but was unable to find out and now I'm wondering whether this is actually a Regency house.

It's amazing how posting here on Steemit has shown me how ignorant I am about certain things and the many assumptions I make. 😁

I have some neighbours who are architects so,
next time I see them,
I will ask their opinion. In the meantime enjoy this example of a "Regency" curved facade house. 😊

[![to post regency house.jpg (https://steemitimages.com/DQmcuAzWsr1SWh7B5AYkWjgxejRFfuQFDBugoNPDc1v32qR/to%20post%20regency%20house.jpg) (https://steemitimages.com/DQmcuAzWsr1SWh7B5AYkWjgxejRFfuQFDBugoNPDc1v32qR/to%20post%20regency%20house.jpg)

 *Be sure to click on the image to view it full screen!*

***
<sup>

Thanks to @future24 for starting the [Steemit Monthly Author Challenge (https://steemit.com/steemit/@future24/steemit-challenge-idea-the-monthly-author-badget-challenge.
Thanks also to @juliank and @photocontests for the daily photography contest.",
"tags":["history",
"travel",
"busy",
"monthlyauthorchallenge",
"architecturalphotography" ,
"links":[ ,
"app":"steemauto/0.01",
"format":"markdown" " |
