It was a family vacation and we spent around 10 days there,<br> travelling various parts of North India. It was an exciting and thrilling adventure for me mainly because I had never seen snow in my life before. I kid you not! <\/p>\n<p>This is my first travel blog ever! Another first for me!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s32.postimg.org\/7x5m7fe39\/2012_10_25_530.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>The air is so thin up air that you get tired walking 10 steps!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s32.postimg.org\/9dv6qndf9\/2012_10_25_536.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s31.postimg.org\/44ljwbcy3\/2012_10_30_718.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Isn't it heavenly?? So much peace. So much beauty.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s32.postimg.org\/qf02dwbbp\/2012_10_30_714_copy.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Now onto the country side. Riding the horses was fun! But too painful for the back!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s32.postimg.org\/b5gzrxbl1\/2012_10_23_485.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Go Karting. Another first. This track in Kufri,<br> Shimla,<br> is the highest in the world,<br> located 9000 feet above sea level. It's over 9000!!! (Dragonball fans will understand that last part! hehe)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s31.postimg.org\/3pwsgjsyz\/2012_10_29_710.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>The Dal Lake. This lake is located in Srinagar and is considered the city's Crown Jewel!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s32.postimg.org\/m6i3x2v91\/2012_10_29_713.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>These are house boats in the Dal Lake. These are called \"shikaras\" in the local tongue.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/s31.postimg.org\/496zafswb\/2012_10_31_784.jpg\" width=\"1066\" height=\"800\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Beautiful sunset as seen from one of the mountains.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p>So with that sunset I leave you with my memories of north India. A beautiful,<br> heavenly place that everyone needs to visit once in their lifetime. This was a trip of many experiences for me. A lot of firsts!!
