I was bought this book as a Secret Santa present for Christmas and was curious as I'd never read a book of short stories,<br> not least from Stephen King.\n\nI was never an advocate of shorts stories. They just didn't grip me,<br> so I went into this book with a tentative hat on and figured I'd flick through the first few pages and put it back down.\n\nBut that didn't happen.\n\nInstead this book launched me on a trail that has now spanned close to two years,<br> found me some amazing friends,<br> and helped me realise new talents and ventures that writing could take.\n\nI don't think there's a tale in here that didn't blow me away. Every story is so different from the last,<br> narrative perspectives change between tales,<br> and it's just an incredibly gripping collective,<br> one that certainly inspires me as a writer to up my game and create something of at least half this standard.\n\n__Simply cannot recommend this book enough to myself,<br> and to anyone wishing to find some inspiration in the craft of writing...
