Our words are powerful. The words we speak are the things that guides us and chat a part for us to follow. It\u2019sso sad that most people have not yet understood the role words play to shape their destinies. They use words carelessly,<br> oftentimes speaking curses or harm over their lives. Hear what the Bible has to say about words.\n\n>Kind words bring life,<br> but cruel words crush your spirit.\nProverbs 15:4 GNB\n\n>A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage is a tree of life,<br> But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress crushes the spirit.\nPROVERBS 15:4 AMP\n\nSo from the passages above,<br> you could the impact words have on a person\u2019s life. Good,<br> gentle and kind words brings life,<br> healing. It works like medicine. On the contrary,<br> harsh,<br> cruel and unkind words destroys,<br> maims and kills. It can shrink someone\u2019s spirit thereby hindering them pursuing their highest potential.\n\nI have had the opportunity to have a chat with some people seemingly feels and act timid and cowardly,<br> and they confide saying that wrong and insulting words were always spoken to them when they were growing up. A parent or a guardian messed up their self-esteem with negative words and that\u2019s not helping them as they\u2019ve become adults.\n\nSpeaking wrong or negative words can be in two ways: the ones you speak to other people and what you say to yourself. Some folks are more cruel to themselves with negative words than they are to other people. They\u2019re careful not to offend others so they try as much as possible to contain their words when dealing with them. But such people are so unkind to themselves,<br> speaking all the wrong things to themselves hence things go wrong all the time in their lives.\n![images (27).jpeg (https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/DQmQkrb3b54SHoE13DVk6iGuEpaqcewFTmPPMy1GEU6xGmh\/images%20(27).jpeg)\nSo I want to admonish you today to start to speak good and right words over your life and circumstances. Even when you find yourself in situations that you don\u2019t like,<br> you can change those negative circumstances with your words. Speak what you want. Boldly declare and affirmation the right words over your life and before long your circumstances will become consistent with your words.\n\nThe question I want to leave you with is how are your words? Do they give life or death?
