Bread & Butter with Tea or Coffee at the semi-cheap price \u00a35.55.\n\n![IMG_0063.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246188\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n\nBeing in a mischievous mood I decided to attempt to order this fully expecting them to tell me to \u2018*bugger off*\u2019,<br> you\u2019re too young or something similar. \n\nI am an old bastard but haven\u2019t quite reached this age yet.\n\n@goblinknackers,<br> being quite ancient himself,<br> tried it on and before me as he was ahead in our queue of just the two of us.\n\nAstonishingly the lady serving did not flinch,<br> took his money and told him,<br> \u2018*the food will be delivered to your table*\u2019.\n\nBemused,<br> he took it upon himself to ask if he actually looked pensioner age,<br> the surprised lady responding,<br> \u2018*Oh,<br> I thought you were ordering for someone else*\u2019.\n\n\n![IMG_0064.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246190\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n<center>\u2026***\u2019\u2019well,<br>.. If I was to tell the truth I thought you were around 60 to 65...\u2019***\u2026<\/center>\n\nNext,<br> it was me and undeterred,<br> went ahead and ordered the '*Pensioners Special*' receiving the same nonchalant response as @goblinknackers.\n\n![IMG_0060.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246198\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n\nKnowing full well it was due to the same reason (as he looks much older than me),<br> I parked my bones down and waited for the food.\n\nService was quick but I was disappointed by what I saw.\n\n![IMG_0066.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246191\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n<center>\u2026***\u2019when fish are this shape you can bet they haven\u2019t just hopped out of the sea\u2019***\u2026<\/center>\n\nThe chips looked frozen but then I looked around at all the other people who appeared to be enjoying the food.\n\n<center>\u2026***\u2019don\u2019t judge a book by its cover,<br> or should I say\u2026 batter\u2019***\u2026<\/center>\n\nFor frozen food,<br> it was quite decent and better than what I could have made. \n\nThe chips were especially good despite their boring visuals with bread and butter always complimenting this typical British food dish.\n\n![IMG_0070.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246193\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n\nNot sure why they have a piano,<br> this is not a place for romantic couples on a date?\n\nIf I was going to be working in this town longer,<br> Russell\u2019s Caf\u00e9 may well be on the agenda again,<br> but not too often. \n\n![IMG_0061.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246196\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n\nI\u2019m not a great fan of food if ALL of it is frozen,<br> yet this was about as good as it gets.\n\n![IMG_0065.JPG (https:\/\/static.tasteem.io\/uploads\/image\/image\/246194\/bafdc501-51d7-4dfa-96d1-95809945871f.jpeg)\n\nThe receipts states,<br> '*Seniors Special*',<br> at least I can have a good laugh about that.
