Here is a fun project I did with my daughters. \n\nElements to create this shot: \n\n1. Location\n2. Subject\n3. Stool\n4. Camera\n5. Tripod\n6. Prop - Ukulele\n7. Photoshop \n\nSetup: Just using natural light from behind camera and from sunroof behind the subject. \n \n\n\nOur location was our bedroom hallway. Any interesting location would work. \n\n\n\nI setup my camera on a tripod and fixed it so that it would not move. This is critical step to making this photo. Tripod and camera cannot move after taking the first photo of the hallway. \n\n\n\n#### Took a picture of hallway. This will be picture #1 during post processing in photoshop. \n\nPlaced,
small sturdy stool\n\n\n\nFound two subjects willing to audition for the part. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPreferably find a subject that didn't just get home from school and has the wiggles.\n\n\n\nIf necessary,
bribe with ice cream. Making sure that the tripod and camera did not move. \n\nFinally took both pictures into photoshop. \n\nI combined the two photos in photoshop with layers. \n\n1st layer - Picture #1: Photo of hallway without stool.\n \n2nd layer - Picture #2: Photo with subject sitting on stool. \n\nMasked and carefully erased the stool out of the 2nd layer - Picture #2. \n\nAs you erase the stool. Since the pictures are stacked on separate layers,
the layer below,
floor and background appears in place of the stool. \n\nPoof. Your subject now is magically levitating. \n\n\n\n\n### Hope you enjoy my photography. \n\n### Looking forward to hear from you. ###\n\n### If you liked this,
you can follow me and see my artwork on a daily. \n\n## **About me and my art:** ##\n\n\n\nI am a stay at home dad and freelance artist that believes both risk and change are necessary to achieve happiness.\n\n- New original photographic art on the daily.
