| body | I'm a traveller, documentary filmmaker and road warrior. Nothing excites me more than a beautiful peak on the horizon. So once a year I choose a mountain to climb as a certain goal to push me through the year. On August 6th 2017 at 10.00 am after 8 hours of climbing up I’ve summited mount Kazbek. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life that changed me forever. The climb that took a total of 5 days was quite intense for me — а fairly unprepared, loud and bubbly young woman that new nothing about “big boy mountaineering” or ice climbing. Good that I had the company of the most incredible hilarious young mountain lovers to keep me on my feet. Friends you climb with, you stay with. The first day we spent acclimatising to new heights and trying to make sense of the beauty that was around us. It’s funny that Georgia still stays massively undervalued by Western tourists but long has been considered one of the top destinations for ex-USSR citizens. On our second day we reached the famous stop-off half way up to the summit — the Meteo station or else known as Betlemi Hut (3860 m). That’s were the real testament started. I got blessed with some mountain sickness, diarrhoea, shortness of breath topped up with a small nose bleed. But all of this didn’t really matter once I looked around. Floating above the clouds you get to witness of the most iconic places on Earth. Some legends say that Prometheus was chained to this mighty mountain after stealing the fire from heavens. Surrounded by spectacular nauseating views and accompanied by constant rattle of the falling stones you could easily believe it. On the day of the summit my Georgian guide Noda and I set off at 2 am. We spent first 4 hours in silent meditative walk up. My senses were amplified. It was dark and all I could see was Noda’s head torch leading the way. The most difficult part was to stay true to my intention and keep my mind focused on putting one foot after the other. Something that we do daily without really noticing becomes a truly monumental task in those kind of conditions and altitudes. With the first rays of early sun I started to feel pain and terrible exhaustion. I started doubting myself and felt desperation wrapping around my guts. Then I talked to my spirits. They said:”If you ever want to love, to feel, to explore, to live with an open heart, prepare to fight for it, prepare to be strong...stop doubting, Di, just keep walking.” So I did haha. Mountains are the best advisers. When I finally reached the top my soul exploded. I wanted to weep, laugh, love, become a supernova and give life. That day showed me the way to my true path in life. And I will be forever grateful to the mountain for that. Moments like this make your feel life even more deeply than ever. We are so blessed to be alive and kicking. Please don't give up on your dreams. Expect less and travel more! Love, Dx |

It was one of the most memorable moments of my life that changed me forever. \n\nThe climb that took a total of 5 days was quite intense for me — а fairly unprepared, loud and bubbly young woman that new nothing about “big boy mountaineering” or ice climbing. \n\nGood that I had the company of the most incredible hilarious young mountain lovers to keep me on my feet. Friends you climb with, you stay with.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe first day we spent acclimatising to new heights and trying to make sense of the beauty that was around us. It’s funny that Georgia still stays massively undervalued by Western tourists but long has been considered one of the top destinations for ex-USSR citizens.\n\n\n\n\n\nOn our second day we reached the famous stop-off half way up to the summit — the Meteo station or else known as Betlemi Hut (3860 m). That’s were the real testament started. I got blessed with some mountain sickness, diarrhoea, shortness of breath topped up with a small nose bleed. But all of this didn’t really matter once I looked around. Floating above the clouds you get to witness of the most iconic places on Earth. \n\nSome legends say that Prometheus was chained to this mighty mountain after stealing the fire from heavens. Surrounded by spectacular nauseating views and accompanied by constant rattle of the falling stones you could easily believe it.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the day of the summit my Georgian guide Noda and I set off at 2 am. We spent first 4 hours in silent meditative walk up. My senses were amplified. It was dark and all I could see was Noda’s head torch leading the way.\n\nThe most difficult part was to stay true to my intention and keep my mind focused on putting one foot after the other. Something that we do daily without really noticing becomes a truly monumental task in those kind of conditions and altitudes.\n\n\n\n\n\nWith the first rays of early sun I started to feel pain and terrible exhaustion. \n\nMountains are the best advisers.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen I finally reached the top my soul exploded. I wanted to weep, laugh, love, become a supernova and give life. That day showed me the way to my true path in life. And I will be forever grateful to the mountain for that.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMoments like this make your feel life even more deeply than ever. We are so blessed to be alive and kicking. Please don't give up on your dreams. Expect less and travel more! \n\nLove,\nDx",

| body | https://cryptolingo.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/ledgernanos-960x640.jpg So you’ve recently just purchased a Ledger Nano S to safeguard your crypto assets, and now you’re trying to figure out how to use it to safeguard your other crypto assets that are not yet currently supported natively by the device. The Ledger Nano S has support for a number of different wallets which are all accessible via a Chrome extension app. So what about ICO tokens you’ve purchased, or tokens not yet supported by Ledger? Well here’s the good news, the popular Ethereum wallet MyEtherWallet (MEW) provides native support for the Ledger Nano S. So you can use your device to easily access your MEW in order to send and receive funds. MEW supports any ERC20 token which is the Ethereum token standard of an Ethereum based coin. Please ensure that the crypto asset you want to manage is a standard ERC20 token before transferring them over to MEW. *The instructions below assume you are familiar with how MEW works. HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR DEVICE Head over to the MyEtherWallet website and click on the “Send Ether & Tokens” tab Plug in your Ledger Nano S device and enter your pin then select the Ethereum app Navigate to the settings menu of the app and activate the “Browser Support” option. This will enable your device to interact with the MEW website. Remember to disable this option when you want to use the Ethereum Chrome extension. While still on the “Send Ether & Tokens” tab of the MEW website select “Ledger Wallet” from the list. A popup should then appear, like the one shown in Figure 1. As MEW is an Ethereum based wallet you can select the ‘Ledger (ETH)‘ as the derivation path if it is not already selected for you. This will give you access to a list of wallet addresses which will now be accessible to you via your device. You can then move any ERC20 token to these wallets. You can then select one of the wallet address you want to manage from the list and then click “Unlock your wallet“. If all goes well you will then be presented with the familiar MEW page where you can view your holdings and send and receive funds. As you are using the device to access your wallet, you will need to confirm any outgoing transactions on the device. This will then be followed by an extra popup on the MEW website to once again confirm your transaction. So anytime you want to access your MEW from your Ledger Nano S device just follow steps 1 to 6. FIGURE 1. https://cryptolingo.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/3e3bwy4d1w96nduwkw6e2q7aa15aqyzvf55c9dysolgh11ldld.png Well, I hope this guide has been clear and easy to follow, and you have been successful in configuring your Ledger Nano S device. If you have any feedback or comments please leave them below. |

| body | What goes up, must always come down. Even in this lifetime where rockets don’t come down in a million pieces of ash anymore, but intact, in a beautifully elegant fall. Regardless, it still had to come down after being shot up towards the moon and after it comes down, it will be reused to be shot up again towards the moon. https://static.businessinsider.com/image/547378e869bedd312b36685a/image.gif I’m not saying all cryptocurrencies will always come down and go back up, but I am saying Bitcoin and many of the top alt-coins have, and continue to do so. More importantly, so do our emotions. “Emotions are a rollercoaster.” What is FOMO and FUD? https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*hL8LJ0wre6HtaZsNmb006Q.png how-to-beat-fomo We’ve all heard of this. In cryptocurrencies, this same life experience applies and does so in what is known as FOMO and FUD. Examples of FOMO: Fear of missing out A coin’s price is going up! You don’t want to miss out on the perception of making money and buy in. A coin’s price is going down! You don’t want to miss out on the perception on making money and sell out. Wow! So many people have opinions on this Facebook group or subreddit that this coin is going to “shoot to the moon!” You buy in. Wow! So many people have opinions on this Facebook group or subreddit tell you this coin is going to go down. You sell out. Beyond cryptocurrencies? Think of those crazy Black Friday doorbusters. The FOMO is real, and most of us are either unaware of it, or aware and still subject to it. Examples of FUD: Fear, uncertainty, doubt You read on Reddit, Facebook, or Twitter that something terrible is going to happen to one of your coins, you get anxious and sell it. The value of a coin you’re holding just cut in half, you’re starting to doubt it and sell. Beyond cryptocurrencies? You’re anxious and very nervous about a job interview. It inhibits you from even having the awareness to prepare yourself for it, so you continue to be nervous up until the time it is scheduled until the end of the interview when you leave and after when you’re waiting for the good news that will (most likely) not come. The Emotional Cycle of Cryptocurrency Markets https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/stock-e1513930097269.jpeg “Emotional rollercoasters” are an actual concept studied in behavioral economics. This is what it looks like in terms of all its stages. In an uptrend or bullish market, most feel thrilled and confident. In a bearish or downtrend market, most feel anxious, fear, and panic. This is what emotional cycles in bear markets actually look like online: https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/FOMO-e1513930637557.png https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/reddit-e1513930608939.png Realize though, every opinion you read on the internet also has an opposing view: https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Twitter1-e1513933906509.png My personal experience with market emotions If you read about my journey, I mentioned I first bought Bitcoin in August. It was around $4000 USD at this time. In a few weeks, the price already went up! “Wow, this is awesome!” https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bullish-e1513931328520.png Fast forward another few weeks later. I was traveling and checked my phone. Everything was red. I already lost the money I invested, all within 2 weeks of being in the market. Not only that, I bought some more, and it went down. I repeated, and it went down again. https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bearish-e1513931544451.png What would have happened if I panicked, got anxious, and sold? Well, that’s where I would have actually lost money. You don’t realize gains and losses until you sell it back into fiat currency. The graph below shows a green circle where I started. Had I sold out, I wouldn’t have seen the market cycles over the last few months to where we are today. Bitcoin is $13,700 as I write this. https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/august-e1513932053484.png 14 stages of emotions? The only states you need to be in, in cryptocurrencies: Aware. Present. Focused. No one knows what will actually happen. Doing your due diligence and researching the technology and history to create your own opinion will help you solidify emotional resilience. You’ll feel less of a need to seek or depend on other’s opinions to influence your investment decisions. Ask questions, and take the information in objectively. Research takes time. If you don’t take the time to do your research, however, spending time in the market potentially shorting (selling) Bitcoin and losing money over its volatile market cycles will still take time. So spend your time wisely. Spend your time learning rather than allowing yourself to be the losing victim of the market cycles. When life is out of your control, the one thing always in your control is your reaction to it. This does not mean numbing yourself and rejecting the emotional cycles of the market, but being aware and present in it, understanding it is there and you are in a market where other’s are also subject to it. How to be present in the market: Start with being aware of your reactions: if losses affect you more intensely than the joy of gains, then adjust your investment habits. An example would be to invest less at a time, or spread out your investment over time so you can experience the market cycles yourself Be aware of the market’s reactions: if you’ve felt subject to FUD or FOMO, others absolutely do too. Expanding your awareness to the market puts you a step ahead. You look at what others call “crashes” as “dips,” or buying opportunities Awareness gives you the focus to make the best decisions: Instead of panicking, you are being objective and have the capacity to make sound decisions and find areas of opportunity Takeaways: What comes up, always comes down. You might not know when, but be aware. Even though the market appears to be numbers and charts, a majority of people in it affect these charts with their emotions. For every opinion you come across, there is an opposing view. Develop your own through research and experience. Instead of panicking, allow awareness of the emotional market cycles to change your perspective. Is Bitcoin crashing, or is it on sale? https://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/btcsale-e1513935541129.jpg Breathe. Money is just money. Don’t forget to see the beauty in the world all around you, spend time with friends and family, and ensure you sleep comfortably. If crypto is impacting you adversely, shut down your computer and go take a walk. Look at some trees, listen to the birds, practice mindfulness. Charts are out of your control, but your reaction isn’t. Remind a friend to be aware when they are FOMO or FUD-ing. https://media.giphy.com/media/mYU7lpQ5IhUt2/giphy.gif Below are some of my favourite resources other cryptocurrency traders or enthusiasts may enjoy: Binance: a secure exchange with low fees, a mobile app, and many coins to trade Join >>> https://www.binance.com/?ref=15387621 CoinBase: the easiest way to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin with fiat money Join >>> https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a3731ecd4d48506a868527c CoinMarketCal: stay on top of the upcoming events that affect the market swings >>> https://coinmarketcal.com/ |

"body": "What goes up, must always come down. Even in this lifetime where rockets don’t come down in a million pieces of ash anymore, but intact, in a beautifully elegant fall. Regardless, it still had to come down after being shot up towards the moon and after it comes down, it will be reused to be shot up again towards the moon.\n\nhttps://static.businessinsider.com/image/547378e869bedd312b36685a/image.gif\n\nI’m not saying all cryptocurrencies will always come down and go back up, but I am saying Bitcoin and many of the top alt-coins have, and continue to do so. More importantly, so do our emotions. \n\n\n“Emotions are a rollercoaster.” What is FOMO and FUD?\n\nhttps://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*hL8LJ0wre6HtaZsNmb006Q.png \n\nhow-to-beat-fomo\n\nWe’ve all heard of this. In cryptocurrencies, this same life experience applies and does so in what is known as FOMO and FUD.\n\nExamples of FOMO: Fear of missing out\n\nA coin’s price is going up! You don’t want to miss out on the perception of making money and buy in.\nA coin’s price is going down! You don’t want to miss out on the perception on making money and sell out.\nWow! So many people have opinions on this Facebook group or subreddit that this coin is going to “shoot to the moon!” You buy in.\nWow! So many people have opinions on this Facebook group or subreddit tell you this coin is going to go down. You sell out.\nBeyond cryptocurrencies? Think of those crazy Black Friday doorbusters. The FOMO is real, and most of us are either unaware of it, or aware and still subject to it.\n\nExamples of FUD: Fear, uncertainty, doubt\n\nYou read on Reddit, Facebook, or Twitter that something terrible is going to happen to one of your coins, you get anxious and sell it.\nThe value of a coin you’re holding just cut in half, you’re starting to doubt it and sell.\nBeyond cryptocurrencies? You’re anxious and very nervous about a job interview. It inhibits you from even having the awareness to prepare yourself for it, so you continue to be nervous up until the time it is scheduled until the end of the interview when you leave and after when you’re waiting for the good news that will (most likely) not come.\n\n \nThe Emotional Cycle of Cryptocurrency Markets\n \nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/stock-e1513930097269.jpeg\n\n“Emotional rollercoasters” are an actual concept studied in behavioral economics. This is what it looks like in terms of all its stages. In an uptrend or bullish market, most feel thrilled and confident. In a bearish or downtrend market, most feel anxious, fear, and panic.\n\nThis is what emotional cycles in bear markets actually look like online:\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/FOMO-e1513930637557.png\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/reddit-e1513930608939.png\n\nRealize though, every opinion you read on the internet also has an opposing view:\n\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Twitter1-e1513933906509.png\n\n \n\nMy personal experience with market emotions\nIf you read about my journey, I mentioned I first bought Bitcoin in August. It was around $4000 USD at this time. In a few weeks, the price already went up! “Wow, this is awesome!”\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bullish-e1513931328520.png\n \nFast forward another few weeks later. I was traveling and checked my phone. Everything was red. I already lost the money I invested, all within 2 weeks of being in the market. Not only that, I bought some more, and it went down. I repeated, and it went down again.\n \nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bearish-e1513931544451.png\n \nWhat would have happened if I panicked, got anxious, and sold? Well, that’s where I would have actually lost money. You don’t realize gains and losses until you sell it back into fiat currency.\n\nThe graph below shows a green circle where I started. Had I sold out, I wouldn’t have seen the market cycles over the last few months to where we are today. Bitcoin is $13,700 as I write this.\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/august-e1513932053484.png\n \n\n14 stages of emotions? The only states you need to be in, in cryptocurrencies: Aware. Present. Focused.\n \n\nNo one knows what will actually happen. Doing your due diligence and researching the technology and history to create your own opinion will help you solidify emotional resilience. You’ll feel less of a need to seek or depend on other’s opinions to influence your investment decisions. Ask questions, and take the information in objectively. Research takes time.\n\nIf you don’t take the time to do your research, however, spending time in the market potentially shorting (selling) Bitcoin and losing money over its volatile market cycles will still take time. So spend your time wisely. Spend your time learning rather than allowing yourself to be the losing victim of the market cycles.\n\nWhen life is out of your control, the one thing always in your control is your reaction to it. This does not mean numbing yourself and rejecting the emotional cycles of the market, but being aware and present in it, understanding it is there and you are in a market where other’s are also subject to it.\n\nHow to be present in the market:\nStart with being aware of your reactions: if losses affect you more intensely than the joy of gains, then adjust your investment habits. An example would be to invest less at a time, or spread out your investment over time so you can experience the market cycles yourself\nBe aware of the market’s reactions: if you’ve felt subject to FUD or FOMO, others absolutely do too. Expanding your awareness to the market puts you a step ahead. You look at what others call “crashes” as “dips,” or buying opportunities\nAwareness gives you the focus to make the best decisions: Instead of panicking, you are being objective and have the capacity to make sound decisions and find areas of opportunity\n \n\nTakeaways:\nWhat comes up, always comes down. You might not know when, but be aware.\nEven though the market appears to be numbers and charts, a majority of people in it affect these charts with their emotions.\nFor every opinion you come across, there is an opposing view. Develop your own through research and experience.\nInstead of panicking, allow awareness of the emotional market cycles to change your perspective. Is Bitcoin crashing, or is it on sale?\n\nhttps://emilyscoins.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/btcsale-e1513935541129.jpg\n\nBreathe. Remind a friend to be aware when they are FOMO or FUD-ing.\n\nhttps://media.giphy.com/media/mYU7lpQ5IhUt2/giphy.gif\n\n\nBelow are some of my favourite resources other cryptocurrency traders or enthusiasts may enjoy:\nBinance: a secure exchange with low fees, a mobile app, and many coins to trade\nJoin >>> https://www.binance.com/?ref=15387621\nCoinBase: the easiest way to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin with fiat money\nJoin >>> https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a3731ecd4d48506a868527c\nCoinMarketCal: stay on top of the upcoming events that affect the market swings\n>>> https://coinmarketcal.com/",

| body | https://cryptolingo.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/1_tftihM0HyTGSSIQC_YQqEA-960x550.jpeg Thoughts on POE - coin that I strongly believe and hold on to... WHAT IS ALL ABOUT: Po.et or Proof of Existence 2.0 is a platform that leverages the blockchain. One of the first real products I’ve seen that actually makes good use of blockchain technology. It does this by providing a global ledger which tracks and verifies the ownership of digital creative assets on the web. What I like most about Po.et is that it tries to solve a real-world problem. There’s a major issue with the copyright infringement of digital creative assets, such as imagery, videos, and publications. Po.et aims to solve this by verifying ownership and giving credit where its due. I’m excited to see how this new technology will be adopted by the digital creative industry. HOW DOES IT WORK? If you are familiar with the concept of a blockchain you will know that all data recorded to a ledger is immutable and decentralised, meaning all participants of the network have access to it. The Po.et platform generates immutable timestamped titles of all the creative works that are submitted to the blockchain. This means there can be no dispute, at least from the platform’s perspective as to who owns what digital asset. Po.et also automates the process of creating your own licenses and offers the flexibility of creating your own terms of use for the digital asset. Po.et is also an open network where users can openly search and discover new contents and verify authenticity. So far Po.et is easily one of my favorite blockchain use case so far. I see a lot of big things in store for this platform, and I will be keeping my eye on this one. FROST APP RELEASE They are currently in the process of developing an official WordPress plugin codenamed FROST which is due for release in Q1 2018. This will make the interaction with the blockchain seamless. If your an active blogger like me or a digital content creator you know the true potential of this product. Backed by an all-star team consisting of Anthony Di Iorio, David Bailey, and Mike Germano to name a few, the sky’s the limit for Po.et! They currently have an Alpha version which you can access here >>> https://app.po.et/ <<< to get an idea of how the platform will function. Happy trading! |

| body | A story of my summit to one of the highest mountains of the Caucasus and the magical power source of Georgia. A short back story: I'm a traveller, documentary filmmaker and road warrior. Nothing excites me more than a beautiful peak on the horizon. Love, Dx |

| body | What goes up, must always come down.
