I have never been much of a writer, because of my lack of grammar ability, but I have decided I want to focus on creating things that will live forever or at least be accessible to others many years down the road. I always loved the idea of Steemit even though I have articles I would rather just not be associated with anymore. Even though those really bad articles are still me and I can't change that. \n\nI am going to start publish stories and hopefully books. Other Governments\n\nIf your government violates your privacy then you know others do as well. \n\n## 3. Corporations you patronize\n\nYou have become the product to these companies. They sell your data like it's going out of style. \n\n## 4. Corporations you don't patronize\n\nWho do you think is buying your data from the other companies, other than the Government. \n\n## 5. Random people\n\nDepending on who you are depends on how much random people are interested in you. \n\n## 6. Nosy Neighbors\n\nI personally hate busy bodies who are all in my business just because they want to be. \n\n## 7. Friends and family\n\nThese are people with the best of intentions but they can sometimes share information that they shouldn't. I can't count the number of times friends and family have just given me information that they probably shouldn't have. \n\n## 8. Yourself\n\nIf you're complacent and not doing your due diligence you are probably your own worse enemy when it comes to privacy.       "body": "I don't know about you but I like my privacy and about a year ago I woke up and realized that I had pretty much completely  given up my digital privacy. I decided that I wanted to take it back so I started researching how to do that. What I found was that it is really difficult to take it back once you gave it up. If you are busy with life like I am it is a slow process.\n\n## Some Steps to Take\n\nThe first step is realizing what is out there on the internet. A Google search of your name can give you an idea how exposed you are. If you show up in page one of the search then think about it as though  you have your bathroom window wide open. Even if you don't show up you might still be exposed just not as much. You can either learn to the research yourself or you can higher someone to do it for you. It can be scary when you see what it out there.\n\nThe second thing to do is to limit Google as much as you can which is really hard to do. Getting Google is a post in it's own.\n\nThird look at your Social Media accounts and see what it says about you. People share way too much about themselves on there.  Make it all private to begin with. There are so many other things you should do but making it private is the start.\n\n## It's worth it!!!\nThere is so much you have to do to regain your privacy but I think it is really worth it. You also need to decide how much privacy you need to take back. To be honest you need to take back at least enough information to make it hard for someone to hack you.\n\nThat's all I got for now. Everyone has something to hide.
