      "body": "I know this thread is old but if you are still wondering it all depends on what the server has set up.  Usualy you camt run a newer version than the server is running, and to downgrade just go into the launcher settings for your profile and select the version you want.  \n\nJust heard about this server but will be sure to check it out next time I fire up the minecraft box.  :)",
