You would be surprised that it's not 50/50 as probability would obviously suggest.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>How would you mess with probability in such case ?&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Try increasing your odds.</p>\n<p>Let us take example of getting hit by car. Your probability of that happening is 1 in 4292 (about 0.02%). Now try walking in the middle of the road at busy junction, you have suddenly increased your odds by almost six times to 1.2%.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>So, probability is not static as its often assumed. It's rather dynamic based on number of factors influencing it at particular moment. &nbsp;Some treat it as randomness, some treat it as miracle such as chance meeting in hotel lobby with your favourite film star.&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",

Not many countries have been successful at that.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>It reminds me of beautiful poem by Martin Niemöller (1892–1984). He was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.</p>\n<p><em>First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—</em><br>\n<em>Because I was not a Socialist.</em></p>\n<p><em>Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—</em> <br>\n<em>Because I was not a Trade Unionist.</em></p>\n<p><em>Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—</em> <br>\n<em>Because I was not a Jew.</em></p>\n<p><em>Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.</em></p>\n<p>So, speaking out is good.       "body": "<html>\n<p>&nbsp;How many people start their day with the thought that I want to change the world today ?<br>\nMostly , none.</p>\n<p>You would argue that that's incorrect premise to start the day - after all we all are bound by constraints - personal or professional.</p>\n<p>All words like making an impact or change the world would sound as cacophony if one is already struggling to go through the grind everyday.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>I simply do not have time , you would say. Enormity of changing the world would weigh you down and you would rule it out as impossible.</p>\n<p>Correct statement would be - I want to change MY world for better. What makes your world ? People you interact with, activities you do everyday, all small things you often overlooked.</p>\n<p>If you strive to make YOUR world&nbsp;better everyday, your circle of influence will become wider and wider.       "body": "<html>\n<p>&nbsp;Wikipedia refers to 'the new normal' as something which has been uncommon earlier, becomes commonplace now.</p>\n<p>That is how world makes progress - by setting up New Normals every day.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Just like snail mail gets replaced by email, email gets replaced by chat, chat will be replaced by video or something else.Law of New Normal applies to personal or business matters in equal measure.</p>\n<p>Consider any traditional business operating in brick and mortar space. It is suddenly forced to navigate into digital marketplace. It tries to stand up and takes baby steps in that direction. Everywhere you go on web and you could see same hotel you searched earlier or same event checked out. So, even if you did not pursue that link in first place, it will appear again and again as you traverse on the web.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Does it really make you buy that particular item or book that particular event ? &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Onslaught of advertising have turned us inert to it &nbsp;. Customers simply ignore it as an unwarranted distraction.</p>\n<p>So, Brands if you really want to get up close and personal, try to reason with me , influence me and make me look good, entertain me. Spend your advertizing dollars on the blogs I read, products I interact, people I converse with, events I attend.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Just showing that silly pop-up as I check my emails is outright LAZY !!!&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",
