titleBitcoin faucets - are they worth the time?
body*Before i start rambling about the various upsides and downsides of bitcoin faucets, let's assume we all have basic knowledge of "bitcoin" and the various terms that comes with it. Now, let's move on.* ![maxresdefault (2).jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYTdMbG8JuzJSPMrWSbGhSbQUnovir562GqoHLaMQwgLU/maxresdefault%20(2).jpg) **So, here we are again, got trapped in the vast lowland of "free money, little work" offers on the internet, and inarguably bitcoin faucets are just some of them**. The concept is simple: you build a website, have some bitcoins ready to distribute, attract people to come and give them very small amounts of bitcoins, while gaining back revenue from placing ads right on your website. As a member of the page, we get paid little amounts of bitcoins over time for nothing, which sounds *really attractive* at first. But believe me; no one is giving a total stranger - yes, you - free money for nothing. Of course it is still free, but the amount is so small and the fact that our time could be spent doing better things makes this a not-so-efficient way to make money. I'll prove this through a comparison of the best faucets (according to many users) **1.Free bitco.in** ![maxresdefault.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdRe8ttvqXGwTR2ShuuKCFCHkAEqMi46DhF95vaUzxspP/maxresdefault.jpg) **Revisit time (the minimum time you have to wait to claim again after you've just claimed)**: 1 hour **Payout**: from 30 satoshi (0.00000030 BTC) to 0.03 BTC, depends on the number you've rolled **Pros**: has a betting system that can make some extra satoshi if done correctly, has a lottery system which is pretty nice, generous referral system **Cons**: the chance of getting any amount larger than the minimum amount in the free roll is *really small*, the betting system can make noobies lose everything (especially the auto bet), lottery chance is really small, must buy/own a considerable amount of tickets to actually have a chance to win something => *This is the best one yet, but it should be treated correctly to make any profit. The betting system **must** be used since it would take 1000 days to get to 0.003 BTC (about 19$ at the time of this writing) given that you can roll 10 times a day, everyday ithout betting. So, if you think you can take the risk, register here: https://freebitco.in/. Or, you can wait forever and still haven't win anything from the lottery with your few tickets. Congrats; getting 1$ here with no referrals is as hard as 50 push-ups.* **2.Btcclicks.com** ![Kiếm-Bitcoin-miễn-phí-với-BTC-clicks.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTTDUTU81H4PSzb8x4KSUss2m8A8kFynrkc4jhuuwQXfC/Ki%E1%BA%BFm-Bitcoin-mi%E1%BB%85n-ph%C3%AD-v%E1%BB%9Bi-BTC-clicks.png) **Revisit time**: none; it depends on how often you click ads **Payout**: 7 satoshis for the highest paying ad at a time **Pros**: it's different than most others, has a 90/180/360-day "double earning" membership which sounds *attractive* in the long run, has a referral renting feature **Cons**: it's a nearly total waste of time. Unless you develop a bot that helps you surf *every* ads *everyday* and not get caught, it's going to take about 1000 days to get to 0.01 BTC, given that you log in once and surf all the ads there everyday (i don't know if the ad changes within a day, in which case you'll have some couple more satoshis, but still not considerable), and the referral renting price is high, and there's not usually many referrals to hire => *Get some referrals, click your a__ of, get enough for a membership, purchase membership, click your a__ off again, and you should get your results. But given the work and time required,i say it's nearly a waste of time. But if you're so inclined, have a special strategy, or just wanna experience yourself, then you're welcome: https://btcclicks.com/* **3.Moon bit.co.in** ![maxresdefault (1).jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmfTcySMbCdU4YJCdjYqEa3bZTLKov8jc1rkcy3GuRBKKz/maxresdefault%20(1).jpg) **Revisit time**: minimum 5 mins; waiting more gives a higher amount satoshi but claiming more regularly is more beneficial **Payout**: from 2 satoshi to about 1296 satoshi **Pros**: a pretty much standard way to claim bitcoins, with various bonuses **Cons**: payout varies **greatly** from 2 satoshi/claim/5mins to 30 satoshi/claim/5mins; also a coinpot account is required => *This is very unstable, the payout rates can be really low. Would do pretty great if you have many referrals; or else this is just another time-waster. But well, if you want to try it out yourself, feel free: http://moonbit.co.in/* **Through the above comparison, it seems that faucets are not a really great way to make money, since they payout is very low for almost all the faucets available. And also, any other faucets you've tried is a worse or similar version of the ones listed above. Of course; there's better ways to earn yourself some cryptomoney, which i'll cover in my next post.** *If you have any question, disagree with my opinions, ohave any strategy or better faucets you would like to suggest, feel free to leave a comment, i'll reply to all of them :)*

But if you're so inclined, have a special strategy, or just wanna experience yourself, then you're welcome: https://btcclicks.com/*\n\n**3.Moon bit.co.in**\n\n![maxresdefault (1).jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmfTcySMbCdU4YJCdjYqEa3bZTLKov8jc1rkcy3GuRBKKz/maxresdefault%20(1).jpg)\n\n**Revisit time**: minimum 5 mins; waiting more gives a higher amount satoshi but claiming more regularly is more beneficial\n**Payout**: from 2 satoshi to about 1296 satoshi\n\n**Pros**: a pretty much standard way to claim bitcoins, with various bonuses \n\n**Cons**: payout varies **greatly** from 2 satoshi/claim/5mins to 30 satoshi/claim/5mins; also a coinpot account is required\n\n=> *This is very unstable, the payout rates can be really low. Would do pretty great if you have many referrals; or else this is just another time-waster. But well, if you want to try it out yourself, feel free: http://moonbit.co.in/*\n \n**Through the above comparison, it seems that faucets are not a really great way to make money, since they payout is very low for almost all the faucets available. And also, any other faucets you've tried is a worse or similar version of the ones listed above. Of course; there's better ways to earn yourself some cryptomoney, which i'll cover in my next post.**\n\n*If you have any question, disagree with my opinions, ohave any strategy or better faucets you would like to suggest, feel free to leave a comment, i'll reply to all of them :)*",

The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links. **To the readers of the post:** Short links are provided by [url shortening](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL_shortening) services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link. **To the author of the post:** While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to [steemit](https://steemit.com). It's as simple as `[steemit](https://steemit.com)` Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it. | | | | ---- | ---- | | This message was created by a bot. titleBitcoin faucets - are they worth the time? & Comparison of the best faucets
body*Before i start rambling about the various upsides and downsides of bitcoin faucets, let's assume we all have basic knowledge of "bitcoin" and the various terms that comes with it. So, if you think you can take the risk, register here: https://goo.gl/HGjD7x. But if you're so inclined, have a special strategy, or just wanna experience yourself, then you're welcome: https://goo.gl/5AUKDV* **3.Moon bit.co.in** ![maxresdefault (1).jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmfTcySMbCdU4YJCdjYqEa3bZTLKov8jc1rkcy3GuRBKKz/maxresdefault%20(1).jpg) **Revisit time**: minimum 5 mins; waiting more gives a higher amount satoshi but claiming more regularly is more beneficial **Payout**: from 2 satoshi to about 1296 satoshi **Pros**: a pretty much standard way to claim bitcoins, with various bonuses **Cons**: payout varies **greatly** from 2 satoshi/claim/5mins to 30 satoshi/claim/5mins; also a coinpot account is required => *This is very unstable, the payout rates can be really low. Would do pretty great if you have many referrals; or else this is just another time-waster. But well, if you want to try it out yourself, feel free: https://goo.gl/Mosbne* **Through the above comparison, it seems that faucets are not a really great way to make money, since they payout is very low for almost all the faucets available.

Now, let's move on.*\n\n![maxresdefault (2).jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYTdMbG8JuzJSPMrWSbGhSbQUnovir562GqoHLaMQwgLU/maxresdefault%20(2).jpg)\n\n\n**So, here we are again, got trapped in the vast lowland of \"free money, little work\" offers on the internet, and inarguably bitcoin faucets are just some of them**. \n\nThe concept is simple: you build a website, have some bitcoins ready to distribute, attract people to come and give them very small amounts of bitcoins, while gaining back revenue from placing ads right on your website. I'll prove this through a comparison of the best faucets (according to many users)\n\n**1.Free bitco.in**\n\n![maxresdefault.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdRe8ttvqXGwTR2ShuuKCFCHkAEqMi46DhF95vaUzxspP/maxresdefault.jpg)\n\n**Revisit time (the minimum time you have to wait to claim again after you've just claimed)**: 1 hour\n**Payout**: from 30 satoshi (0.00000030 BTC) to 0.03 BTC, depends on the number you've rolled\n\n**Pros**: has a betting system that can make some extra satoshi if done correctly, has a lottery system which is pretty nice, generous referral system\n\n**Cons**: the chance of getting any amount larger than the minimum amount in the free roll is *really small*, the betting system can make noobies lose everything (especially the auto bet), lottery chance is really small, must buy/own a considerable amount of tickets to actually have a chance to win something\n\n=> *This is the best one yet, but it should be treated correctly to make any profit. body"Um, hi?" And then passed 30 seconds of total awkwardness. Poor guy didn't have enough communication skills; since what he loves to do is making the hit of the year rather than writing a post telling about himself. His writing skills weren't so great either, so ultimately he decided to write in third-person rather than directly introducing himself. Being engaged in the Steemit community is a new opportunity though, so eventually he'll have the chance to improve himself. Anyway, one might wonder why a music producer might want to join the community, and being a cryptocurrency enthusiast himself, he might tell you what he want to know about the whole concept. His knowledge of this area is not so wide, and he intends to expand it by joining Steemit. And by the way, having some pocket money is also handy in terms of production gears. Speaking of production gears... "What?" What? "What about my production gears?" "Well i was telling everyone about the reasons that you joined Steemit. I was getting to the point of production gears..." "Oh, so you DO know about my gears. Now tell me; where did you hide my headphones?" "No I didn't..." "Yes you di...WOAH WOAH YOU SOLD MY HEADPHONES FOR TWO PINEAPPLE PIZZAS? LIKE, REALLY DUDE? AND YOU EVEN IMITATED ME ON MY FIRST POST ON STEEMIT! FOR GOD'S SAKE!" Errr...i guess i should stop now in case it gets worse, but if you want to support him... "STOP IT!" "Calm d..." *unplugs pc* "There. Now we're talking." P/S: To clear things up, i made up the whole argument thingy; i don't really live with a housemate at this time.
