Si Randolph Bourne dijo, con toda la razón del mundo, durante la Primera Guerra Mundial que “La guerra es la salud del Estado”, en el último lustro la excusa del terrorismo ha sido el mejor bálsamo que han podido encontrar los gobiernos del mundo. En particular durante la última década, aprovechando la coyuntura que propicia la situación de oriente medio, no hay libertad individual que pueda sobrevivir a las cada vez más “necesarias” leyes que afiancen seguridad en nuestras ciudades. Toda violación de la privacidad es poca si ponemos en la otra cara la posibilidad de un atentado.\n\nDe esta forma, son cada vez menos las parcelas de libertad que nos quedan a los ciudadanos libres, a aquellos que tratamos de realizar un proyecto de vida sin interferir en el del resto, a quienes practicamos la doctrina del “don’t tread on me”.  Una de las formas en las que intentamos escapar de la violencia fiscal que impone el Estado es gracias a las criptomonedas. Tanto es el éxito que cosechamos desde que el juego comezó hace 8 años que la reacción por parte de los carceleros no se ha hecho esperar: la Comisión Europea ya está haciendo los preparativos para demonizar las criptodivisas, pues estas son “fuentes de corrupción, blanqueo de capitales y contrabando de drogas”. Porque las transacciones entre criptodivisas son pseudoanónmias y eso enerva terriblemente al ojo de nuestro particular Gran Hermano. El Leviatán nunca tiene suficiente.\n\nDe momento la guerra no ha comenzado, pero sin dudas nos encontramos antes “la calma que precede a la tempestad”. Además, tengamos en de las trabas regulatorias que ya comienzan a ser patentes a este y al otro lado del Atlántico. Los hombres y mujeres de todo el mundo tenemos una responsabilidad. Debemos defender con uñas y dientes, hasta nuestro último aliento, la esencia misma del ser humano: la libertad.",
