body	<html> <p>We have all heard the saying, ‘The best things in life are free!” Yet not many of us believe that this is true! Allow me to present you with the law of attraction perspective and why everything is free. </p> <p>We are told that, “you have to work hard, that you can only have this when you get that”, “that they have it all because they are born under the right starts, which therefore you then deduce that, you were not born under that star and thus you are not worthy of ‘all that goodness’” This, in short, is a false way of thinking, believing and therefore feeling!</p> <p>Here is why the best things in life are ALL FREE and how changed is achieved. </p> <p>By the way, ‘matter’ is simply ‘energy’ transformed! Our thoughts, our emotions, are all energy! In order to have the physical object present in our reality, that object would have needed to have been perceived/created via our thoughts and emotions, before it was realised into matter. Everything that we see in front of us at this present moment was someone else’s thought first! How did that architect create that large metal bridge, answer; by thinking and feeling first! Was he excited about creating that structure? Probably! Did he receive enjoyment from manoeuvring through all the challenges of how he would arrive at his perfect construction? Absolutely and who do I know? Well, all creative individuals, and I mean all, writers, musicians, artists, sculptures, architects etc. known that you have to be in that inspired zone before your ideals are flowing and then you become excited and slowly your creation appears on that ”white” one dimensional piece of paper….</p> <p>Back to the point, everything in life is free; contemplate for a moment your favourite thing in life? How does it feel? Are you smiling? What emotions are running through your body- joy, fun, adventure etc.? Now change your thoughts to your favourite all time food and feel how that food would taste, how it smells, what it would look like on the plate, your favourite restaurant you would eat that food at. You can create any emotion you’d like with anything that you would like to experience in life! It’s a matter of learning how to direct and shape your thinking into being!</p> <p>For example, I love smoothies. I have one of those commercial blenders that pulverises all things known to man and just thinking about how and what I can create using, kale, beetroot, kaffir-lime-leaf, coconut water, kiwi’s etc. etc. I get excited. I love seeing (in my mind) what I can do. I use combinations that I have never physically created before, which make me happy. I love hearing the machine blend and how loud it is….This is all done via thinking and feeling FIRST and none of these emotions cost any money!!!! I do this so often that it is only after I feel what something would taste like that I physically go and purchase those fruits and veg. </p> <p>If you would like to be rich, fun, joyful, adventurous, creative, colourful… you must first FEEL that emotion and I can assure you, ALL will change for you with incredible speed and with such delicious unfolding that you will quickly start to focus on your feelings first….which by the way cost $0 dollars.</p> <p>You are in charge of how you feel and no person can affect you without your permission!</p> <p>Until next time……. </p> </html>

body	<html> <p>We tend to believe that there is only one way in life! This is a flawed premise. Finding relief in a problem situation isn’t about doing an action oriented activity in order to change that problem, it’s choosing to have another thought that will change that which we are experiencing. “When we change the way we look at things the things we look at change”, W.D Dyer. This by the way is a Universal Law, Physics if you’d like, Quantum Physics, for those that are Scientifically oriented! And it is something that I am continually refining. As when you become aware of your thoughts and that you are the sole being that is creating your world, then you would know that you have all the power!</p> <p>I have made it my mission in life to allow all that is part of my wellness, my joy, my fun, my prosperity to find itself in my life, without thinking that I have to do some “saint miracle, I have to suffer to earn it” action point of view, before I can physically experience that which I would like to arrive in my life…..that by knowing that we are all worthy, then the suffering disappears!!!!!Thus, thought I would share this idea and perhaps inspire the fun, joy, love, prosperity, adventure…. that is also rightfully yours!</p> <p>To highlight this point, thought I would illustrate it via a simple walk in Nature and a real life example I had experienced with friends some years ago. The Highlands is an incredibly abundant area in the wider NSW region of Australia and most people, have a simple approach of “I must see that” destination and then get back in their cars for their 4 hour round trip home.</p> <p>I have seen on numerous accounts, they drive from the Big Some, for 2 hours (one way) to experience a bush walk and then simply spend their time, rushing from the car park and straight toward the water fall or the cave, (like it’s a ticker box race of “seen that”) all the while missing all the fun and interesting things along the way. In fact, years ago I took some friends to a rain forest, that had incredible trails, bridges, water, flora and fauna, with the end point of a large waterfall. In this one hour Nature experience,  this particular individual dedicated his thoughts toward focusing on problems and not on the now moment. I remember pointing out the stag-horns that were hanging from the Gum Trees and asked if he was aware of how they chose to exist in their environment and how fascinating they were, to which he replied, “ are you receiving mail from the bank with fees that needed to be paid?” I remember pointing out to him that in this moment of peace and tranquillity, why wasn’t he able to allow himself thoughts and emotions of peace? That he had the opportunity to experience beauty, the sound of the birds, the cool breeze, the ruggedness of trees and the odd wild animal that would scurry through the scrub-land? I didn’t realise it then, not completely as to his state of being, however I found an answer after an hour of reaching our destination. He sat down looked at the water fall and said, in a disappointing tone, “Oh is that all!?” He had missed it all!</p> <p>Art is also similar. I paint, not because of reaching the end point, rather for the experience of discovery! If I only focused on the end point, I would have a huge storage problem. In fact once I finish a painting, I loose interest in it. All that remains are my memories of what it took to create that peace of art work and how much I had to consider, how I discovered the landscape that inspired me, how I met the person whose portrait I painted and how I got wet in the rain and my fingers became frosty in the minus five deg C winters morning, how the farmer in the neighbouring land accused me of polluting the land and how I had to explain to him that I was an artist not a "illegal rubbish dumper", that's what makes our lives richer, the experiences we gather along our trails!</p> <p>We always have the power to choose another perspective! We have become prisoners to the belief that I have to “earn” something before I can allow myself to feel good! We have become prisoners to our own thoughts, not realising that we always had the power to change how we feel. While things happen that leave us shaken and vulnerable, those things happen not because we are bad people, rather it is an opportunity, like a fork in the road to say, “what can I learn from this that will make my life even better?” and then choose another direction (this I know from direct experience!)</p> <p>It’s when we stay in the positive energy that we will start to experience positive things, that no “negative” scenario will ever feel like something bad, rather something where we can now choose to change direction…..and changing direction is a fun adventure! </p> <p>In all your adventures, take your time; look up at the sky, down at the ground, stop half way to your destination and walk into that coffee shop. Start a conversation with a total stranger and offer them a positive thought, a smile, a loving gesture. Allow the person behind you, in the supermarket line, to go first and see what happens.       "body": "<html>\n<p>We tend to believe that there is only one way in life! This is a flawed premise. Finding relief in a problem situation isn’t about doing an action oriented activity in order to change that problem, it’s choosing to have another thought that will change that which we are experiencing. “When we change the way we look at things the things we look at change”, W.D Dyer. This by the way is a Universal Law, Physics if you’d like, Quantum Physics, for those that are Scientifically oriented! And it is something that I am continually refining. As when you become aware of your thoughts and that you are the sole being that is creating your world, then you would know that you have all the power!</p>\n<p>I have made it my mission in life to allow all that is part of my wellness, my joy, my fun, my prosperity to find itself in my life, without thinking that I have to do some “saint miracle, I have to suffer to earn it” action point of view, before I can physically experience that which I would like to arrive in my life…..that by knowing that we are all worthy, then the suffering disappears!!!!!Thus, thought I would share this idea and perhaps inspire the fun, joy, love, prosperity, adventure…. that is also rightfully yours!</p>\n<p>To highlight this point, thought I would illustrate it via a simple walk in Nature and a real life example I had experienced with friends some years ago. The Highlands is an incredibly abundant area in the wider NSW region of Australia and most people, have a simple approach of “I must see that” destination and then get back in their cars for their 4 hour round trip home.</p>\n<p>I have seen on numerous accounts, they drive from the Big Some, for 2 hours (one way) to experience a bush walk and then simply spend their time, rushing from the car park and straight toward the water fall or the cave, (like it’s a ticker box race of “seen that”) all the while missing all the fun and interesting things along the way. In fact, years ago I took some friends to a rain forest, that had incredible trails, bridges, water, flora and fauna, with the end point of a large waterfall. In this one hour Nature experience, &nbsp;this particular individual dedicated his thoughts toward focusing on problems and not on the now moment. body	<html> <p>Ever get the feeling of how much you would like to accomplish “something” and then keep hearing your inner voice, say “I don’t feel like doing that today!”</p> <p>- I’d like to have the body of a Greek God, “but today I don’t feel like going to the gym!”</p> <p>- I’d like to start that business, “today I feel tired!”</p> <p>- I’d like to start that oil painting, “today I just don’t feel like clearing the room for my easel!”</p> <p>- I’d like to learn how to draw, “I just don’t have the right pencil today!”</p> <p>….and so the list continues on and on and on. </p> <p>For about 8 months, I have been on a waiting list to join a Life Drawing Class. So popular is this class that in order for the students to have generous, spacious room to move within the studio of the gallery, number of students are limited. Thus each term I would e-mail the organiser with my excited intent to join the group, I kept being told that, “you are on the waiting list!”</p> <p>Eight months on and another term arrived, another e-mail I had sent and this time I didn’t even receive a response back, only silence! </p> <p>I thought about this? In my own silent contemplation, I began to realise where my own leverage was. I realised that it was all to do with how I was feeling and less to do with attempting to convince a total stranger of my personal desire to,’ please, please, please let me in the class’</p> <p>As I sat and contemplated how wonderful it would be to be in a life drawing class, to share the cost of the life model, the atmosphere of all the other artists and how I would increase my own expansion, how I would bolster my artistic soul, I got an inspiration to go and speak with the gallery direct. What have I got to lose? I asked the gallery, "are there were any rooms available for hire?", and if they could help with one step. Due to privacy laws, "would you be able to get all the names and contact details of all the people on the waiting list and the contact information of all the Life Models?" Joyfully I said," I would organise the entire term, as long as I could have all the necessary information" With a simple and straightforward, “yes no problem”, whereby the gallery even said, “in fact we have been thinking to organise another Life Drawing Class, just didn’t have anyone that would want to champion the event”</p> <p> The real life example that I am sharing with you might sound, straight forward, however it isn’t the action that caused the event to occur, rather it was looking and feeling different about the event that caused a new inspiration, whereby all that needed to align with this event to take place, did! Meaning, I could have complained and pushed and pushed and struggled with negative thinking, “why I couldn’t get into the day time drawing class”. In fact I did that for eight long months! It was only when I choose to change my emotional state and focus on how much I love the idea of being in a class, how much I love meeting new people, how much I love the atmosphere of a life drawing class, that I started to receive the inspiration of my first step, contact the gallery. From there, while it seemed like a lot of work, within two weeks, every detail fell into place and I was able to create and organise a new Life Drawing Class. </p> <p>When you apply yourself using your emotional state of being, all things line up! Thus,  it isn’t a large amount of action that is necessary to achieve something. When you feel your way toward that which you desire, you won’t even notice the action because now you are living from your emotional heart. </p> <p>I have started to believe more in the unseen and less in the action oriented world. body	<html> <p> Thought I would share a story of how life guides us and leads us in the direction of our hearts desires, even if we don’t know it at that moment in time….</p> <p>Years ago I came across an old dusty, run-down Art book in a second hand store. For the price of $2 I took it home with me. Surveying each page I came across a painting by Roland Wakelin from 1944, Richmond Tasmania. I can’t explain why, however I was hypnotized by the image. I found the construction and composition captivating; the old bridge, the young trees, an old building….looking at that painting various story lines were circling in my mind………I’d often revisit this image each time I found something new………For the most part I was in total ignorance that this could even be a real place. </p> <p>To view Roland's painting click on the link;</p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/artistmirjana/photos/pcb.1237131979641577/1237131279641647/?type=3&theater">ROLAND WAKELIN 1944 PAINTING, RICHMOND TASMANIA</a></p> <p>In 2010, we decided to take a trip around Tasmania (Australia), no particular plan. Start at one end of the Island and finish at another end. </p> <p>In reaching Hobart, decided to head in the direction of a good patisserie with a good reputation. It was then that the painting that I had loved so much suddenly came to life!</p> <p>At the café people were telling the story of the oldest working bridge and the Mill House…My intuition said, “that might be something good to see”…. And as we walked through town approaching the bridge I remember all these feelings and emotions waking up with me…….It was like I was standing in Roland Wakelin’s painting! The only difference was that now the small trees from 1944 were all grown up, they were now the protectors of the bridge, they were the guardians of the Mill House. </p> <p>It was at that point that I became obsessed about creating artworks that one day, someone would come along my landscape and experience the same thing. More importantly they connect us to places and people, circumstances and events and even if we aren’t able to physically be in that location they provide us with a window, just like Roland did in 1944 when his story of Richmond had began….</p> <p>As I stood on that bridge, I started asking the question about who lived in the Mill House in 1824, Who lives in the Mill House now? Are they connected through a parallel Universe, unknowingly?</p> <p>Do the trees talk to one another about the people that have come and gone and how many variety of people have the trees experienced walking across the bridge? </p> <p>In fact for me, seeing the trees as small tiny children in Wakelin’s painting to what I painted, became an obsession where I wanted to tell the story of how they were all grown up and that the Mill House was still a living breathing presence with many more stories ready to be unveiled. </p> <p>Don't you just want to walk over the bridge and stand in front of the Mill House?</p> <p>Until next time......</p> </html>

body	<html> <p>The feeling of absolute freedom; loving what you are doing and not caring one bit of what others opinion is of you! So why not live your own adventure?</p> <p>As an artist, people seem to feel the need to continually ask me, “are you making any money?” I am certain that they wouldn’t ask this question to any other random person that they encountered on the street…..Nonetheless, I started contemplating why they were intrigued?</p> <p>The answer was quiet simple, Joseph Campbell always said, “follow your bliss” and on a deeper subconscious level, the individual’s question was more based on the need to understand, “how are you following your bliss?” versus, “how much are you earning in order to be able to do what you love?”…..</p> <p>The people that were intrigued with what I was doing, were more interested in knowing my absolute freedom, yet they were equating freedom with money!</p> <p>What most are not understanding is that, freedom is a state of mind and a state of being! Most people have a lot of money and yet are still bound by their daily struggles of living!</p> <p>No-one can give you your freedom, only you can! And for me, freedom is being able to live a life without boundaries, free of the good opinion of others, being able to do what I want to do when I want to do it! To me, this is success!</p> <p>In living and doing that which I love, I have fulfilled my reason for being, for doing, for living, my higher purpose..... and this is what most individuals are wanting to understand. body	<p> A couple of weeks ago I had a conversation with two people that were having a pretty tough time. Their experiences, from their limited perspective, seemed that the emotions they were feeling were bizarre and separate from the world, belonging only to them. This isn’t the case at all, however I thought the best way to help them is to show them a different point of view and so decided to ask them the question, that I was faced with in 2009. “Would you give up a comfortable monetary pay check to live your dream, not knowing if you were going to be ok?” as money was one of their main concerns. My intention was to alleviate their negative emotional state, even if it was for that one hour. Thus, the reason why I am starting these “blogs”, that through sharing some of my story and love of art, somewhere in the Universe this might help someone along their path…..</p> <p>If from my last post I haven’t made it clear, I love the quote, “If truth doesn’t set you free, generosity will”, in the spirit of giving it all away, I’m going to share with you some parts of me, my art techniques, the tools that I use, the materials and what I consider very important in painting, how I inject emotion within my work and much more…</p> <p>Briefly, here is a holistic overview of where I came from…the journey that propelled me toward living as an oil painter. </p> <p>It took me 10 years to reach the pinnacle of, what I defined success, working 15-18 hour days, most weekend, within a very cut throat Finance Industry, all in view of reaching the elusive top. Finally in 2007 I was offered a role as a Senior Business Manager. I was experiencing all the privileges that the job offered. Met writers, musicians, adventures, world known entrepreneurs and travelled frequently, interstate and internationally. From the outside world, it looked like I was living the ideal life. Granted from a material perspective there wasn’t a thing that I could not have, however on an emotional scale, there always seemed something was missing!</p> <p>One of the experiences I was privileged being part of was hosting a private dinner at a National Gallery, where I was hosting a private function and a private viewing of the largest renowned portrait prize in Australia, for my top clientele. This was a rare event in deed, to be able to hire a National Gallery Privately. As I was walking through the hall, looking at all the portrait finalists, a strong voice bound itself in my mind, “One day, I’m going to be on that wall!” Naturally I wasn’t about to announce it to the CEO, “I am hearing voices”…..but for those that are not too familiar with what that feels like, it’s like an intuition, a knowing, a feeling of “that is for me!”…. A voice so strong that from the outside perspective I looked like I was staring at a blank wall. </p> <p>Making the decision to change direction in 2009, was a surprise to many. I left my current work which included a substantial salary, as well as, rejecting a new work opportunity to further climb the corporate ladder and break through the “glass ceiling” (to be a State Manager of another Finance Firm) which meant rejecting even a bigger pay packet. Now keep in mind this was during the GFC time frame, where most people were keeping jobs not letting them go…For people that have had experience with the finance industry and alpha male employers, you would know how rare it is to have a female within an executive position. Thus the decision to reject the direction of a “bigger” employment role, meant that I was burning my bridges and so the option of a safety-net no longer existed. These were actions of a mad woman, because back then I was NOT a confident artist! All I knew is that I had a dream!</p> <p> Thus the choice to leap meant, that I had to make the big jump over that ravine. I handed over my life to faith. Internally I shouted Universe, dreams here I come…. and everything that could go wrong did!</p> <p> What started (unknowingly to me) was the participation of me understanding the struggles, the knowhow of everything fear, frustration, anger, passion, vulnerability, courage, aggression had to offer (on all levels…deep levels). I discovered real friends and what generosity was. I learned the power of love, unconditional love! (this is rare in deed!!!) I uncovered my own strength. I learned how tough I really was. I learned what I was capable of and how many fears I really had…..These were Emotions that were so strong, so deep, that it would have left many people crippled, many would have driven over the cliff. Then only to realise, years later, after emerging from the fire, that living in such deep fear was my ONLY impediment to living the life that I originally set out to uncover. </p> <p>The biggest lesson was that I learned that I control all that I see. I was now moving and arranging the matrix, the matrix wasn’t arranging me! To me, this knowing is priceless and I wouldn’t change a thing! Now, as for my art, each time I paint, I tap into an emotion (I know choose the emotion rather than have it control me) and I am able to allow that emotion to flow through me, within the story and the paint itself…..These lessons aren’t able to be learned in avoidance of life, one has to step forward and live life!</p> <p>It was through these last 7-8 years that I discovered the most priceless possession worth acquiring, that is; knowing myself. As when you arrive at this point, you now occupy the driver’s seat of directing your life!</p> <p>That negative noise that has been in my background: the people, places, circumstances and events, made me focus, gave me greater intentions and reminded me of who I really am and what I really want! The negativity allowed me to launch myself into a new place, into this current moment, into a NEW ME.</p> <p>For some, thanking the fears in your life sounds stupid. However I am thankful that fear gave me the darkness so that I could face the light. Thank you for showing me the doorway, the opportunity to know myself. Because of the people, many paintings were created. In fact each painting, has a story within my story….</p> <p>I learned that creativity is constant and while it always changes, there is one thing that it always it-meaningful! And so, as I have walked the art-road I have discovered that art has the ability of giving someone a measure of their own potential and the ability of how much they would like that potential to flow! There was no better example in seeing that, than through the art classes that took me 6 months to start for men over the age of 65. …These wonderful men were novices, to the world of mixing colour, with zero experience and yet decided to come along and see their potential….They have now expanded to holding their own shows during yearly festivals. One of my favourite students (who was colour blind) believed that he would never paint. I decided to introduce him to the world of Monochromatic Perspective, and boy has he moved his world…..</p> <p>Most of us do not allow ourselves to be seen, to live what is in our hearts ( a topic dear to my heart and one that can be explored and discussed at no end). We do not allow ourselves to risk to be ourselves. This has been my first-hand experience through the various art lessons that I have taught and my observations in people, particularly the portraits that I have painted.</p> <p>What we see through our eyes isn’t the world that others create, yet one that we direct as a result of what we believe. The world we see is simply what we project from that which we allow our hearts to feel, via our emotions. </p> <p>I know this might sound mad, however all our decisions are based on this one moment, in the now. These decisions will either sprout from love or fear and it is my greatest wish to be able to highlight this point via the process of ART. As in each moment that I paint a portrait, there is only that one now, now, now, now time frame, which is what is most delicious. I know this to be true as when I finish a portrait it is like losing a best friend. Thus the aim is never to get to the end, rather to enjoy the colours that I mix, the deep observation of their face contour and emotion within their eyes……. </p> <p>As I started to move toward that which made me happy, I realised that via art and painting and showing art to others, teaching art, making videos about art, I was able to get people to present their best selves to me. I realised that they were being better people, they were living a more self-authentic life. I realised that this was something that my talent was able to provide, to get and show the best of each one of us had to offer. </p> <p>I also realised that the effect that I was having and achieving in others is the most valuable thing I could spend and give to others. How I make other people feel is the most valuable currency I could ever spend and give! This is what they remembered most after all my shows and teaching sessions. I know this to be a priceless commodity, as how you make others feel long after you are gone is far better than what you give them. </p> <p>So if you are faced with a challenge, ask yourself what you have to learn from it, face it, walk through it with gusto and confidence and what you will discover is a strength far greater than you would have otherwise known. Strength that will enrich you work and enrich you as a person…. to which then you will start to thank all that dark energy. Remember the darkness is giving you the opportunity to move toward the light! AND remember that YOU ARE WORTHY of everything (no exception)!</p> <p>So back to my initial question; Would you give up a comfortable monetary pay check to walk the path of the unknown?</p> <p>I suppose that’s what an adventurer does and I am one artist having an adventure!</p> <p>Until next time....Create. I realised that this was something that my talent was able to provide, to get and show the best of each one of us had to offer. \nI also realised that the effect that I was having and achieving in others is the most valuable thing I could spend and give to others. How I make other people feel is the most valuable currency I could ever spend and give! This is what they remembered most after all my shows and teaching sessions. I know this to be a priceless commodity, as how you make others feel long after you are gone is far better than what you give them. \nSo if you are faced with a challenge, ask yourself what you have to learn from it, face it, walk through it with gusto and confidence and what you will discover is a strength far greater than you would have otherwise known. Strength that will enrich you work and enrich you as a person…. to which then you will start to thank all that dark energy. Remember the darkness is giving you the opportunity to move toward the light!
