Although the release date is 2017, it's a series I've just discovered.\nFirst of all, let me give some information on the subject. Marty Byrde is an accountant consulting at a high-level company. Even though his salary is well above average, he needs more money. Therefore, a shell company engaged in drug trafficking begins to launder the money of a company. But things don't go as hoped. His friends from his money laundering team are killed by the gang members for smuggling money. Marty, who fled to Southern Misouri with his wife and children, is soon found by the drug cartel. Now he has to launder money for a much larger and dangerous gang, both to survive and to keep his family out of danger.\n\nJason Bateman, who plays the lead character of the series, is also the producer of the series and the director of all four episodes.\n\nOzark is a challenging money laundering story of ingenious intelligence used for evil purposes! It's similar to Breaking Bad, but we think it's very different productions. The color palette of the series is a bit heavy and dark. While this is a little overwhelming, it keeps the tension constantly high. Ozark's action and tension tempo does not drop for a moment.
