Hmm, that's true but don't let that be your reason for posting. Think of adding value.\n\nThe quality of your post crowns it all. \n\nAlways think value, value and value! Don't fill your blog with trash. It will discourage followers and you might end up not having any votes. \n\n**Create** **a** **good** **following**\n The number of followers you have can determine how far you can go on Steemit. Your posts appear on the feeds of your followers that's why you need to build a good relationship in order to gain followers. \n\nYou get followers by commenting on people's posts. Well, this is not the \"*nice* *write* *up*\" kind of comments. \n\nGo through the post you want to comment on, see if you agree with the poster and encourage him. You can give suggestions, ask questions or answer the ones asked by the owner of the post.\n\nFollowing people whose posts impact you positively is also a great way to get followers.  \n\n**Don't** **beg** **for** **follows** **and**  **upvotes**\nThis is a sure way to piss of people. When it seems they're all alone in this world, what comes to their mind is getting into a relationship.       "body": "Hi Steemians, my name is Joy Kel with the username Jpearls. I’m super excited to join the @Steemit community. I’m a writer, Editor and relationship counselor. I’ve not been so much on social media but have written relationship articles for websites. I heard about Steemit from @kisrael! I have 5000 subscribers on Facebook and all have been yearning for a blog from me, Steemit is my answer to that! This is my first post on Steemit but believe me, I’ve made pretty damn research on posts by other Steemians both newbies and whales. It’s my inspiration, my motivation to make the world a better place to live in by helping broken relationships heal. \n\nI am married for 4 months and have been in a relationship with my husband for five years. I was terrified of being in a relationship when I saw how marriages break apart. Some of them were not even up to a month old! I was scared of being heart broken and this stopped me from being close to guys until lately (when I met my husband). I noticed that no one cares about the broken marriages and relationship and people hardly talk about them. It have become a norm, so why will anyone care? When I met my man, he was so wonderful that I often feared I might lose him! I never wanted that to happen, I started searching for reasons why romantic relationships turn sour. I came up with answers and cures to broken romantic relationships and marriages. So far, I have proffered solutions to hundreds of relationships and thanks to Steemit, I look forward to reaching more people. \n\nBut that’s not all! \n\n##HOBBIES\n\nI have lots of hobbies! You may ask why, well, I hate boredom! I love traveling and I have great passion for music too. Writing is not out of it (my time here on Steemit will attest to that). I’m a fan of nice drawings, I draw still life and nature drawings. The steemit drawing on paper proves this. I love cooking generally and baking in particular. \n\n##STEEMIT TARGET\n\nSteemit is a promising platform to impact lives, and I'm aware that quality contents are appreciated here. There's nothing as fulfilling as healing people’s minds with quality contents. I want to earn a place in the lives of Steemians by contributing.
