      "body": "<html>\n<p>&nbsp;Once in a while I want to escape my daily life. When  I want to break my daily patterns I always visit the skyscanner website to find a ticket for a far destination as cheap as possible. Four months ago I found a ticket from Amsterdam to Costa Rica for only 230 euro (250 usd). It was an offer I couldn't refuse. So I booked this ticket together with a friend and three weeks ago we flew to Costa Rica. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nCosta Rica is famous for it's beautiful green landscapes and an extreme biodiversity. When I looked up information about the country I found some information about Corcovado National Park. This park is one of the least touristic national parks of Costa Rica. National Geographic called this park <em>\"the most biologically intense place on Earth in terms of biodiversity\" . </em>This sounded amazing and we booked a guided tour in Corcovado. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nhttps://steemitimages.com/DQmb154FrKBUhBDsy48V1C353kUMxtpezb66Bq3nycVPEnk/IMG_20180406_102045.jpg\n<br>\n<br>\nFrom San Jose we took a local bus for only 13 usd to Puerto Jimenez. The bus drive was only 370 km, but it took us almost 10 hours to get there.  When we arrived in Puerto Jimenez we walked to our hostel. It was easy to find, because Puerto Jimenez is a small town. We went to bed early to be fit for 2 days full of hikes in the forest. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nhttps://steemitimages.com/DQmRBdFjYkR3WJv3JgXYQFaiWV393HDWyrZ86Mg3PsPXXSK/IMG-20180408-WA0006.jpg\n<br>\n<br>\nhttps://steemitimages.com/DQmWzjKrfqJxWTgbLgvu6cpPZF4zKv5VSRw9BV6Q92LhQxG/IMG-20180408-WA0010.jpg\n<br>\n<br>\nThe next day we woke up early and we met our guide Hannia. Together we drove to Carate, where our 20 km hike to Sirena station started. The hike started in the secundary forest, where the vast part of the animals are living. Fifty percent of the time we walked on the beach, and fifty percent of the time we walked in the forest. We saw many monkeys, raccoons, macaws and wild boars. &nbsp;The highlight of our first day was seeing a jaguarundi hunting. We also hoped to see a tapir, because there are many tapirs In Corcovado. But unfortunately we did not see one. At the end of the day we arrived at the Sirena station, where we had a good diner. This trail was mainly in the primary forest. This was a more extreme trail, with the most amazing scenaries you could imagine. During this trail we saw less animals then on the trail of the first day, but the trail was totaly worth it. We also had the opportunity to swim in the middle of the jungle in a river between tuna. That was an experience that will last a lifetime.       "body": "Great pics though (yours) the \"fog\" is prolly sea salt that get´s carried when is very windy I guess, Lopes is on the open sea side of the island so it´s usually windier than other beaches in Ilha Grande. Four months ago when you posted this, was March/April which are rainy/windy months on the island. Best months to visit September through February, get´s very hot (38-40C) but I really love April-September, specially May-June-July when the island get´s less visitors. Cheers!",

      "body": "My sister is a young 17 year old girl who is addicted to her iphone, like most of the people of her age. Her life seems to happen on a phonescreen. Since her 12th I am taking her on adventures to the most beautiful places on this planet. For me it is important that she discovers the world and it's people. Traveling  will give her great memories that last a lifetime. It makes you understand people with different customs and traditions better and you are becoming less judgemental. Creating a positive mindset is my gift as a brother to her. \n\nLast summer we visited Cuba together and it was an amazing experience. We traveled from Varadero, to Havana and Vinales.  When we arrived in Varadero I did not have a clue how to get to our hotel. We were planing to take a taxi, until we saw a woman from a travel agency. We asked her if she knew the cheapest way to get to our hotel, which was near the beach. We were lucky, because we were allowed to come with the bus of the travel agency for a small amount of money. In our hotel we enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful beach. From the bus stop we walked to our first casa particular. A casa particular is like a guesthouse owned by local Cubans. The family also lives in the casa. This was the start of our guided tour. \n\nThe same day we met the tourgroup and our guide, who gave us a briefing about the trip. After the briefing my sister and I walked around the city and it was amazing. The people were all outside enjoying their time together. A beautiful thing was that there was no internet on the streets. Internet cards were expensive and only sold in hotels. This was hard for my sister, but she was strong enough to survive without internet. \n\nHavana itself was beautiful and the people were very nice. The Cubans were helpful and sincerely interested in us. We had nice conversations about life in Cuba.  I also loved all the old Spanish colonial buildings, that are a memory of the city's wealth (in the past). The guide was Cuban himself and he answered all our questions. We drove to Las Terrazas and we had a nice day there. We swam in the San Juan river, which was a location with many locals. After this day we stayed in another casa. \n\nWe had a nice evening with the family and played the card game 'UNO'. It was sad that we weren't able to communicate with this family. Besides the people in the most touristic places Havana en Varadero, we actually didn't meet locals who spoke English. The next day we went to Vinales where we stayed for 2 days. This place was really just like an painting. This was a neighborhood full of Afro Cuban streetart. We walked around and loved what we were seeing. This was a nice end of our tour. \n\nAfter the tour we stayed for one more week in Havana and Varadero. Then we had to fly back to Amsterdam. My sister and I had a nice time together and I can not wait to take her on a new adventure.",

      "body": "Hardfork 18 happened today, which is like new version of Steemit with some changes. One of them is that post payout will be 7 days after it's been posted. These first seven or so days all posts will have lower payouts and they'll gradually rise to the amount they were at before the hardfork. After the initial 7-10 days everything should be normalized.
