| title | A Must Have Free Plugin For Wordpress: TinyMCE Advanced |
| body | I would like to tell you about a WordPress plugin which I've been using for a number of years now. The reason I use this plug-in is to help me with the editing of WordPress posts. In WordPress, we've got the normal text editor. The problem is it can be hard to format text because it is quite limited. They don't give you much stuff to play with as far as formatting. We can't even choose the size of the font, we can't choose the actual font itself without going into WordPress theme settings. You've got bold and italic and that's about it. If we want we can center things but it's very limited. It would be much better if we could have more features so we would be able to edit WordPress posts better and make them look nice. So I've been using a plugin called TinyMCE Advanced. It's a free plug-in and it has more features to edit your posts. The great thing about tiny MCE Advanced is you can control the toolbar. There are various rows for the different toolbars and when you start using it you can see there are lots of different things which we can add. For example, insert the date and time into a post, add a strikethrough, you could put a smiley face in there, etc. It really depends on how you like to edit your post. There are lots of different options. There are also things I've never even used. The main thing I use it for is so I can choose the font and choose the size. But sometimes there are other things which you might want to do. So tiny MCE advanced is a really useful tool for WordPress websites. It's a free plugin. I just thought I'd mention it to you because it's something I've been using for a number of years and it's just makes editing of WordPress posts so much easier.

Posted from my blog with SteemPress : https://bartrush.com/a-must-have-free-plugin-for-wordpress-tinymce-advanced/

|

| title | 5 Best Free Digital Marketing Tools |
| body | The difference between digital marketing and amateurs and professionals who get results is the tools that they use. I'm going to share five of the best digital marketing tools to grow a business. You can use them all on a daily basis and they're all absolutely free. The first tool is similarweb.com: If you want to get the digital marketing strategy for any business in about five minutes then this is the tool to use. All you need to do is to type in a competitor or website that has a similar audience to the one that you want to attract. Similarweb will create a marketing report, showing you a behind the scenes look at how they get website visitors. You can now see how much traffic they're getting per month, what are the countries the traffic is coming from, what are the different marketing channels that they are focusing, what are the websites that are sending them traffic, what are the phrases and words that people are typing into the search engine that is bringing them to their site and what is the social media channel is they're focusing on. It's just an incredible look behind the scenes at any business, how they market it and what's successful for them. You can take and apply those strategies for yourself. The second tool is Google Trends: This is an incredibly useful tool. If you want to find hot topic ideas for blog posts or YouTube videos then there's no better tool than Google Trends. That is because Google Trends really shows you what the world is searching for. If you want to create a video or blog post about a topic, for example, "Blogging". Type that into Google Trends, Change the filter to the last 30 days. If you want you can change the country. What you have to look for are break out terms. If you see a term like "best blogging platform" is up 110 percent over the last 30 days and " can you really make money from blogging" is "break out" meaning it's way above that, maybe even 150 percent. This is telling you; over the last 30 days, there has been an explosion of people typing "Blogging" into Google. So if you could create a YouTube video or a blog post about blogging, you're going be able to get to the top of the search results or the top YouTube video because not a lot of other people have created content on this topic in the last 30 days. So if you want to write about a non-saturated topic, look at Google Trends and the "breakout" terms. The third tool is canva.com: If you want to save money on stock photos and expensive graphic design software like Photoshop then you can use canva.com. As a digital marketer, it's really essential that you make images for your Facebook ads, blog posts, and YouTube tutorials. You want to be able to do that yourself quickly so that you can make changes and adjustments. Canva really allows you to do that. They have all these templates, for example, a Facebook post. You can drag and drop them, you can change the colors, you can change the text very easily and this way you can really create those eye-catching images. Some basic graphic design skills are really essential to a digital marketer. The fourth tool is a Chrome extension called vidIQ: This is a tool for YouTube. You know YouTube is the second biggest website in the world and the second biggest search engine in the world. So if you want to get traffic and build an audience on the second business biggest website in the world then vidIQ is a tool that would really help you to do this. If you are considering to make a video on a topic, for example, Google Analytics. You just type that into the search bar in YouTube and then vid IQ, once you've got the Chrome extension installed, brings up all this extra information at the side. You can see, under the keyword score, that the term "Google Analytics" gets a huge amount of search volume on YouTube. If you now want to create a video on this topic you can now see if you have a good chance of getting to the top of the search results in YouTube because you can see the stats and see if there is a lot of competition and what the search volume is. And there's a lot of other things you can do it vidIQ. So vidIQ is a great tool especially if you want to focus then on video marketing and YouTube marketing. The fifth and final tool that we'll look at is the "Keyword Everywhere" Chrome extension: Again this is a Chrome extension so you need to be using the Chrome browser for this. Once you've got it installed you're gonna see this metric, "search volume per month", under the search bar in Google. So if you want to create a video or a blog post and you are looking for a title now you can see how many searches per month your keyword has. Let's say you want to use the title "Online Marketing Course" and 5000 people are searching for it a month. But 9000 people are searching for the title "The Best Online Marketing Course". It's just one word difference but 4000 people more are searching for that term. You can use this tool on a daily basis to test the name of products and blog posts ideas to really make sure that you're appealing to the broadest audience possible. Set those tools up for yourself so you can really use them to grow business and get incredible results with your digital marketing. If this post did help you out then comment below and make sure you share with a friend. If you have any additional questions or comments then leave them for me in the comment section and I will answer it as soon as I can.

As found on Youtube

Would you like to know more about generating all the free traffic you can handle in great detail? | title | Solo Ads Training |
| body | On this post, I'm going to tell you some more about solo ads and more specifically how you get better results with solo ads. If you've done solo ads before or if you are new to it and want to start with solo ads, then this is a good post for you. Because I'm going to tell you a couple of important things that you need to know when you're doing solo ads so you can get really good results and get the best out of every campaign. The first thing for you to know is that you need to have a landing page!! If you don't have a landing page you're pretty much burning your money. Why is this important? About 75 percent of the objective of the solo ad is to build a list. And when you're not sending traffic to a landing page that will capture the email you're just pretty much burning your money. Of course, you can send the traffic directly to the sales page and you might even have some sales. But if they don't buy anything you've lost them forever. So if you can get their email, there's still a chance to follow up with them and present the offer, or another offer again. After the landing page, you can either send your traffic to your presale page, where you warm them up for the offer to come or send them directly to the sales page. It's not that hard to create a landing page. You can find videos on YouTube. The second thing you need to know is "win the war not the battle". When people run a solo ad campaign and don't make any money they freak out. It's not guaranteed that you're going to make money with solo ads. But if you don't make any money from your first campaign at least you will, hopefully, get a lot of leads. Eventually, you're going to be able to convert those leads into sales because these people are now on your email list. You're in this for the long run. When you have a email list you'll have an asset for years to come. The next thing you need to know is the incoming traffic from a solo ad is cold traffic. This means that although they opted in to your list, they're still not interested enough. They don't know you, they don't know what's going, they don't know what you have to offer. It's completely cold traffic. What you need to do is engage with them and convert them into warm traffic so you can eventually sell them something. Warm them up by sending them an email and tell them something about yourself, ask them to reply to the email or ask any questions they might have. If you don't do that you're not going to make anything off the people who actually didn't buy the product you've promoted. Begin with this as soon they're on your list so you can actually start building a really responsive list. If you don't engage with them from the start you're going to have a really cold list that doesn't convert well and doesn't respond to your emails. The next thing is: don't spend too much money at the beginning. Do some research. You have to find someone who is selling good solo ads. Start with small amounts ($50to $100 max) and test, test, test!! Test the conversion rates, how many sales did you get, how responsive is the list that went down your funnel. It's not just about getting those leads at the beginning but also it's about how well they respond to your emails in your funnel. If you see that everything is good and it's converting decent then start buying more and more to build your list and get more sales. One of the best platforms to get solo ads is called Udimi. They have lots of tutorials and it is very easy to set up. It's also very important to track your clicks and conversions from each campaign. If you don't do that, if you don't know what campaign converts or what campaign doesn't, you're going to end up wasting your money. Let me know if you have any questions. Make sure to leave a comment and share this post.
Would you like to learn more about Solo Ads and Free Traffic Sources? | title | What is a solo ad ? |
| body |

On my last post, I talked about affiliate marketing and how to sell affiliate products on your own website. But how can you sell these affiliate products if you don't have a website? There some free methods for you to try, but I will talk about them in the next blog post. Now I want to tell you something about Solo Ads. What is a solo ad and most importantly how can you use solo ads to drive more sales to your products and to your services online? A solo ad is whenever you are paying to advertise a product or service through someone else's email list. For example; there might be someone who has a blog about Making Money Online related topics. On their website, they have a sign-up form where people can subscribe to their email list. Let's say that the person who blogs about Making Money Online has managed to generate two or three thousand people on their email list. So they have two or three thousand names and email addresses of people who are interested in Making Money Online. If they were to send out an email to those people advertising your product or service in return for a fee then that is essentially a solo ad. Because that person has hopefully been providing those two or three thousand people with a lot of value in the past, sending them valuable emails in the form of blog articles or maybe even videos, they are likely to have a really good relationship with the thousands of people that they have on their email list. And as a result, you're likely to get very good results, sales or sign-ups if you actually advertise your products or your services by using that persons database. I'm going to show you one method that you can use to find solo ad opportunities to help you market your products or your services. This is just one method and I may be doing some more methods on solo ads and how you can leverage solo ads. So make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don't miss those. Let's just say you have a pet product and you're trying to use solo ads to increase sales. You can use Google and type in "advertise on a pet blog" The reason why you type this in is that you are trying to find someone who has a pet blog and has followers and subscribers who are interested in pet products and who may be interested in your pet product. Whenever you find a blog and you want to advertise on that person's blog always check how many email subscribers they have and also how many Facebook followers, Twitter followers, Instagram etc. they have. That will give you a good indication of whether or not it's worth getting a solo ad from this particular provider. If you think this person is right for you, send them an email or contact this particular person or company and ask them how much it would cost to send to send out an email to their 2,000 plus subscribers. Sometimes what they do is actually send the email out on your behalf. One of the most effective emails you could send out to these 2,000 people is not just "go and buy my product" but it's actually an email that gives something of value, give something away for free. For example, give away a free report on "how to make sure that your pet is always healthy" and when they click the link in the email they head over to your landing page where they have to enter their name and email address to get access to this free report. That way you have those people on your own email list now and then you can market your products to them. Hopefully, you can see that this technique is a great way to sell your products and services, but also build up your own email list of people who are interested in your particular niche. Obviously, if you're selling pet-related products you wouldn't go to a business blog. You want to narrow it down as much as you can so you're actually emailing out to people who are specifically your target group. I hope you now understand what solo ads actually are and you now have a method of which you can go and implement and leverage the use of solo ads to help you sell more products and build your own database at the same time. On my next blog post, I will tell you some other Solo Ads strategies. If this post did help you out then comment below and make sure you share with a friend. If you have any additional questions or comments then leave them for me in the comment section and I will answer it as soon as I can.
Would you like to learn more about Solo Ads and Free Traffic Sources?
Would you like to learn more about Solo Ads and Free Traffic Sources? |

"body": "

On my last post, I talked about affiliate marketing and how to sell affiliate products on your own website.\r\nBut how can you sell these affiliate products if you don't have a website?\r\n\r\nThere some free methods for you to try, but I will talk about them in the next blog post.\r\nNow I want to tell you something about Solo Ads.\r\n\r\nWhat is a solo ad and most importantly how can you use solo ads to drive more sales to your products and to your services online?\r\n\r\nA solo ad is whenever you are paying to advertise a product or service through someone else's email list.\r\n\r\nFor example; there might be someone who has a blog about Making Money Online related topics. On their website, they have a sign-up form where people can subscribe to their email list. Let's say that the person who blogs about Making Money Online has managed to generate two or three thousand people on their email list. So they have two or three thousand names and email addresses of people who are interested in Making Money Online.\r\nIf they were to send out an email to those people advertising your product or service in return for a fee then that is essentially a solo ad.\r\n\r\nBecause that person has hopefully been providing those two or three thousand people with a lot of value in the past, sending them valuable emails in the form of blog articles or maybe even videos, they are likely to have a really good relationship with the thousands of people that they have on their email list.\r\nAnd as a result, you're likely to get very good results, sales or sign-ups if you actually advertise your products or your services by using that persons database.\r\n\r\nI'm going to show you one method that you can use to find solo ad opportunities to help you market your products or your services. This is just one method and I may be doing some more methods on solo ads and how you can leverage solo ads. So make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don't miss those.\r\n\r\nLet's just say you have a pet product and you're trying to use solo ads to increase sales.\r\nYou can use Google and type in \"advertise on a pet blog\"\r\nThe reason why you type this in is that you are trying to find someone who has a pet blog and has followers and subscribers who are interested in pet products and who may be interested in your pet product.\r\nWhenever you find a blog and you want to advertise on that person's blog always check how many email subscribers they have and also how many Facebook followers, Twitter followers, Instagram etc. they have.\r\nThat will give you a good indication of whether or not it's worth getting a solo ad from this particular provider.\r\n\r\nIf you think this person is right for you, send them an email or contact this particular person or company and ask them how much it would cost to send to send out an email to their 2,000 plus subscribers.\r\nSometimes what they do is actually send the email out on your behalf.\r\n\r\nOne of the most effective emails you could send out to these 2,000 people is not just \"go and buy my product\" but it's actually an email that gives something of value, give something away for free.\r\nFor example, give away a free report on \"how to make sure that your pet is always healthy\" and when they click the link in the email they head over to your landing page where they have to enter their name and email address to get access to this free report.\r\nThat way you have those people on your own email list now and then you can market your products to them.\r\n\r\nHopefully, you can see that this technique is a great way to sell your products and services, but also build up your own email list of people who are interested in your particular niche.\r\n\r\nObviously, if you're selling pet-related products you wouldn't go to a business blog. | title | What is Affiliate Marketing? |
| body | let me make it real simple: affiliate marketing is "SOPS" -->Selling Other People's Stuff. On one hand, you have a merchant and that merchant can sell any type of product. It can be physical goods, digital goods, a membership site or a subscription. For example; you know Amazon sells books. On Amazon, you can sign up for their affiliate program. If you have a website, you put the Amazon affiliate link on your site and if a visitor to your site clicks that link and goes to Amazon and buys a book, Amazon will pay you a commission on that purchase. It's that simple... We are now talking about physical goods. Not only Amazon has its own affiliate program but also other places like Best Buy, Target, JCPenney, Best Buy, etc. There are hundreds, if not thousands of merchants that have affiliate programs. And you can earn money by selling their products. There are also sites that offer digital goods. One of the best platforms to get and sell your digital products such as ebooks and software is Clickbank.com. In fact, there are hundreds of products which you could instantly promote with a special link and then get a commission based on every sale. One of the main reasons affiliate marketing is so popular because the overhead is so low and the commissions are usually very high. For example, if you promote an ebook on Clickbank which sells for $100, you can earn 50% commission on each sale. Another version of affiliate marketing is a subscription model. For example the Wall Street Journal or USA Today. If you sign up for their affiliate program and a visitor to your website makes that purchase, you then earn a commission. Some membership sites and subscription-based programs actually pay monthly recurring commissions. So an affiliate program is really just selling other people’s products and if you have a website then you can do this and you can make money online. If you don't have your own website there are other ways to make affiliate commissions. More about this in my next blog post.

Posted from my blog with SteemPress : https://bartrusch.com/what-is-affiliate-marketing/

|

| title | Shiny Object Syndrome: How To Overcome and Stay Focused |
| body | Shiny object syndrome is a term a lot of entrepreneurs used to describe people who are always chasing the next opportunity, the next big thing and usually don't stick to it long enough to actually get any kind of results. This is common with new entrepreneurs where they start out and they hear about all this great opportunity making money here, doing this and they keep changing. And every time you see them they have a new business, a new great opportunity they want to talk about and I think a big reason this happens is that when we doubt ourselves and we are not sure of our destination. Of course, this happens the most when you're starting out, when you are new to a business and when you doubt yourself. This is the time you're going to be more likely to give up or worry about whether or not you'll actually be able to succeed. I've done it!! I have hundreds of products by now and I can honestly say that I have NOT seen that last video or read the last page of that PDF for at least 75% of all my purchases. So what happens to me and others is when things start to get a little tough people see new opportunities and they're always chasing the next new thing that sounds easy, that sounds good, rather than understanding that things take time. That becoming successful might take a year. It might take 10 years!! It takes a lot of time to actually make something great. This not only applies to business but it applies to anything whether it's developing an artistic talent or athletic one or really anything you want to do. It takes time!! And when people don't understand that there's this time investment, that you're gonna have to put in the time and that things are not always going to be easy, it leads to change in direction every time things get difficult. And often we fall into the shiny object syndrome. We get excited about the new thing rather than admitting that the current thing we're doing isn't working for us. The reason this is so destructive is that when you're constantly changing direction there's are a couple of things going on. One: You are probably doing multiple things at once. You do not stop one thing and then start a new one. That means you're splitting your brainpower. Maybe you're spending 30% percent here, 40% here, 30% here and that means that in any one thing you're doing not really enough to succeed. You are competing with people who are using a hundred percent of their brain and time. so you're looking at 30-40% of you versus a 100% of them...... They're going to win every time!! The other thing that happens is that if you change direction whenever things get tough, you're never really going to succeed. Success can take a lot of time. So let's say you'll start to get results and after a while, there is a "dip". You don't have the same results anymore. Most people quit at the bottom here and it's pushing through this dip that leads you to come out on top and get rewarded compared to other people. But the thing is it's a lot of work to get through this step. So you have to figure out if this the track you want. There's no point putting in all this work to overcome the dip if it's not the right path for you. If you do feel this is what you want to do then you need to put in that time and overcome the dip. And that's unfortunately where most people quit and if you're always quit in the dip, ( you might not call it quitting, you might call it chasing an opportunity), then you're never really going to achieve anything great and stand out. Because you're just getting into that easy part that's fun. That first month you're learning a new sport or doing a new business is really easy, it's often exciting because you're making a lot of progress quickly. But it after the "easy" part and into the difficult part that separates the winners from the losers. What I think you should do is; Think hard what your goal is, what is it you want to achieve and really get clear on your outcome. And once you're clear on your outcome commit to that and be aware that you're going to have ups and downs and you're going to enter this phase, this dip. And just be aware that it's coming up and you're going to be challenged. It is often enough to help you see it through and keep pushing forward and not fall into the shiny object syndrome, keep being inconsistent, keep changing directions and really self-sabotaging yourself.

Posted from my blog with SteemPress : https://bartrusch.com/shiny-object-syndrome-how-to-overcome-and-stay-focused/

|

| title | Best TRAFFIC METHODS for Affiliate Marketing (paid ads and organic) |
| body | I am going to share with you some different options that you can use for traffic when it comes to affiliate marketing. There are many sources of traffic for affiliate marketing and it really comes down to: Do you have more time or more money? If you have a lot of money or more money to invest in your business you can be doing paid ads like Facebook Ads or Google ads. With Facebook ads, it is hard to get away with running an ad for the make money online niche or business opportunity but there are definitely ways around it. For example, you can be talking more about the laptop lifestyle versus make money online and that's a more creative way that your ads will get approved on Facebook. But watch out Facebook is watching!! Also with Facebook ads, people are not searching for something like they are with Google Ads. On Facebook, you are targeting them but they were just scrolling on Facebook looking at social media. So you have to give them a really compelling reason to want to stop their scrolling and look at your ad. But with Google ads, people are searching exactly for what they want and your ad could be showing in their search results. But with that, you are competing with everyone else doing Google ads. The next one is solo ads. These are really easy. You pay-per-click from someone else's list. So let's say you want to buy a hundred clicks, you buy a hundred clicks from a solo ad vendor. These vendors already have email lists of people interested in making money online or online marketing tools or business opportunities. You pay them per click so that's a fast way to get traffic. But it's also very cold traffic because these people have no idea who you are so you've really got to warm them up with your email follow-up and with your funnel. I like to use solo ads as a test to see if my funnel is viable at all. If it works with solo ads it's gonna work even better with my warm traffic. This warm traffic is more social media. That's using organic Facebook and Facebook groups, being in facebook groups, having my own Facebook group, having subscribers on Instagram and connections on LinkedIn and on Twitter, having subscribers on youtube. And then YouTube also ties into search engine optimization people searching for something and they find your YouTube video or people searching for something on Google and finding your blog or your website. I like to do a mix of paid ads and organic methods. I say organic methods because it still can cost money because I personally really don't have the time or the desire to be doing all the things organically that I can be doing to drive traffic through online marketing. For social media methods, I can hire virtual assistants to help me with that so my time can be focused on creating content, like videos or blog posts. If you are the only one who can make a video you can pay someone to help rank the video for SEO and distribute it online. There are only 24 hours in a day, so if you can...Outsource. I suggest trying all the traffic methods that sound good to you because you're also want to do what's fun for you. If you doing Google Ads and don't like it and spending time on Twitter and LinkedIn it's not really your thing, maybe you should focus on YouTube videos. I hope you get my point! I will have more posts with more specific details about those different traffic methods. Try it out see what feels good to you. Find out what's fun, see what works, track your numbers and just don't give up. Don't be married to one traffic method either. It is good to not put all your eggs in one basket and have variety. And if you're just starting just focus on a few but eventually as you grow your business you'll have more resources to be able to outsource more.
Would you like to know more about generating all the free traffic you can handle in great detail?
