      "body": "1. Pre-set as many of the functions of the camera before heading out.  This way it's just a matter of rotating one or two large knobs on your camera to shoot.  Having to go through menus and trying to press the smaller buttons become to difficult.\n2. Keep your hand in the warmest gloves you can wear.  If your hands are cold it makes operating the camera painful.\n3. Keep your camera covered but not inside your jacket. I don't use a lens cap because I'm always losing them.\n4. Keep a spare battery in your pocket. The cold reduces the time your battery time in half.\n5. Bring a dry rag to wipe down your camera, I usually bring two or three.\n6. Bring some compressed air to blow out any snow or ice that get in the small nooks of the camera.\n7. Always use a glass filter over the lens, you may need to wipe the front element down.\n8. Plan you trip with a way point for you to duck into some shelter.\n9.
