However, when she gave birth on Monday, June 7, she was surprised when 10 babies emerged, her husband, Teboho Tsotetsi, told the Pretoria News.\n\nShe gave birth by Caesarean section at a Pretoria hospital.\n\nHusband Tsotetsi told Pretoria News: \"It’s seven boys and three girls.\n\n\"I am happy. I am emotional. I can’t talk much.       "body": "In 2020, a group of African American astronauts formed an affinity group, nicknamed the “Afronauts.”\n\nOver the past two weeks, we highlighted “Afronauts” who served in the military. They made history with contributions that include participating in space shuttle missions to perform critical tasks such as deploying and retrieving satellites, performing spacewalks, conducting science and technology research, and piloting and commanding space shuttle missions. In 1961, Captain Ed Dwight Jr. was chosen as the first astronaut candidate and twenty-two years later, Colonel Guidon Bluford became the first African American in space in 1983.\n\nAfrican American astronauts played key roles in the assembly of the International Space Station, and today utilize the orbiting lab by performing numerous spacewalks and robotic operations and conducting research as expedition crewmembers. It showed that we always need to be vigilant, and that the international community has a huge responsibility when hatred turns to mass scale violence.\n\nWriting that today, with one eye on Gaza and another on Ukraine, that is a painful thing to consider…\n\nRwanda changed me as a person.\nFinding out, as a senator in the late 1990s, what role my country had played in the response to the genocide, struck me more deeply than any international event ever before.\nThe resulting Rwanda Commission, of which I was co-rapporteur, was part of me ‘growing up’ as a politician. Since that time, minimal efforts have been made in Liberia to address these crimes, notwithstanding a recommendation in 2009 by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission to establish a court to ensure justice.\n\nAs a presidential candidate, Joseph Boakai stated repeatedly that a War Crimes and Economic Crimes Court needed to be established for the Liberian people to end impunity and for the nation to heal.\n\nIn his inaugural address, President Boakai then committed to pursue ‘the establishment of War & Economic Crimes Court to provide an opportunity for those who bear the greatest responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity to account for their actions in court.’ \n\nSince President Boakai assumed office, the local and international communities—including the U.S.—have eagerly awaited the establishment of the Court.  This promise was made to the Liberian people who want real change—they desire democracy, human rights, and justice.    \n\nThe U.S. Congress is also closely monitoring the establishment of this Court as a way to advance good governance and healing for the people of Liberia.
