| body | This is a well articulated post, I have been thinking of writing about this for a few days now. Let me just add on. Nigeria is by far the leading country in terms of crypto adoption in Africa. Everywhere else, scams, propaganda and decampaigning from governments have made people take it wit a pinch of salt. I am from Zimbabwe and I am very disappointed with the rate of adoption. While there is a group of tech savy youngsters and even older guy, who have adopted crypto, the number is still small as compared to the overall population. I have been looking at other subsaharan Africa countries and realised that only in Nigeria is crypto adoption very high in Africa. Everywhere else, the spark is there and it has been ignited but due to many reasons the flame is still too small. What most countries need to convert the small spark into a real flame is government support. But the level of decentralisation in crypto looks like a threat to governments. Why? Because use of crypto would cut bank charges by almost half if not more. This is because in many countries using a bank looks like a punishment already, so obvious many would run to the blockchain. So, few governments are willing to give up the level of control they have ove their countries financial doldrums. The next issue would be the need for strong blockchain education. The rate that newbies are being scammed in crypto in Africa is worrying. The most worrying thing is that most of the scams are basic and still people are losing money. Scams that can be prevented or reduced by proper education like, pyramid schemes, fake investment portals, honeypot coins, fake airdrops and you can name it are becoming a problem to those who lack knowledge. All these scams make crypto look like an enemy to the general public while it might be their saviour. All this skepticism that is built on the hatred from losing money through scams can be done away by proper crypto education. As you said, in web 3, Africa as a whole has great potential. We should make use of blockchain technology to get rid of the negatives that come from unstable currencies, economic sanctions and high costs of banking. The general public should be educated to see blockchain technology as a saviour not an evil. But are governments ready to lose some control? Are they ready to step up? |

| body | Thats a very ambitious project from Tether. However, I do have a my qualms against this project. I have several questions that I am not sure tether has addressed. As we all know, changing the makeup that you use does not make you a different person nor does changing your hair cut. Tether has been involved in several controversial issues which is why they were facing tons of pressure from US authorities. So, I still believe that if they did not fix these issues, then a new stable coin name is just adding cosmetic on top of a a farm brick so that it looks like a concrete brick. It will still break and the scrutiny and pressure from the authorities will still come. That said, they will need to prove to the US market they are safe, reliable and compliant. Otherwise, they will be taken with caution. Just a personal opinion, what do you think? |

| body | This well articulated. Crashes in financial markets are inevitable when it comes to crypto. They are something that you cannot avoid, however you can prepare for them. Investors, especially beginners need to believe that even if the market crashes, if you don't sell your holdings, you have lost nothing. The only thing that changes after a crash is the value of your holdings. So, if you don't sell when price is low, then you can still enjoy your peofits when the price rises again. The loss only comes when you sell at a lower price and for sure the funds will be deducted from your pocket, there is no mercy. This brings me to the second important point you raised. Invest what you can lose and use proper risk management. If you know that you can either win or lose from your investment, then you become content. You are prepared to hold and see where the market takes you even after a crash. But if you invest all your savings, then thats where the panic to sell comes from. Managing risk is also key, planning before any trade or investment. This will give you planned entry and exit points, by the time you enter an investment you already have calculated potential losses and wins. This is very important to prevent panicky behaviours. Trading or crypto investment are not get rich quick schemes. The market rewards the careful and punishes the greedy. Sitting down and planning before any investments prepares you for bad economic times and market crashes. Just a personal opinion. |

| body | From my understanding, there are mixed responses to this project. Because the project was hyped by CZ, many people became almost feverish. I think there was a strong mismatch betwween the hype that was created and the actual technology provided, and as a result the true pros where disappointed when they discovered that the DEX was not up to par. I have seen this several times with many recent crypto projects. No innovation, just copy paste and sometimes they copy the shell but the technology is very bad. Users should be very vigilant about such projects. |

| body | I was so disappointed sometime in August when TRON fees short up unexpectedly. The essence of being cheap was lost then. They later on clarified that the costs of transactions go up when there is high transaction volume. I started questioning TRON scalability though. I started wondering about what will happen to the cost during a market crash or bullrun. I hope they fix this issue. The problem was temporarily solved but what happens during another high transaction period? |

I could only see the usual daily price flacturations when everything else was going down by 8% or more. Thats when I realised TRX was not any other alt coin. It represents a whole financial system. I hope we never go to a point where TRON falls down very hard. Because if it does, there will be gnashing of teeth in TRON block chain. |

| body | Thank you! This is a very helpful and impressive piece. It got me wondering a lot. This is not my first time hearing something about dressing nicely not only when meeting someone, but also on a regular basis. I am one of the few people who have a very bad habit of not caring about what I look like when I get out of the house. While I am working on it, I understand its nothing good because many people judge people on the first impression. In the first 60 seconds of meeting and they have already done their analysis and shelved you to a specific group. which grou you want to belong to? You can choose that by how you dress! I remember one of my internship supervisors used to tell us that the first thing someone looks at when you meet is the shoe. I would argue and dispute her, but I later started monitoring what I would do first when I meet someone. Guess what, I found myself looking at their shoes all the time. As a result, I learnt my lesson. I agree with you, a lot. We should all know and learn that there is nothing wrong with dressing and smelling nice, even grooming your self. This will improve how people see you, when you meet for the first time, or even in the community you live. You will even notice with the kind of greetings you get when walking around dressed nicely. Not only this, but dressing and smelling well can also give you a very big boost in self esteem and confidence. Now, thats too good! |

| body | I agree with you on mistakes. I believe that as human beings, mistakes are unavoidable. You can make all the preparations and try to be very careful. You can even try to avoid making mistakes but you will not win. Sometimes we make mistakes knowingly, but we can also make mistakes as we try to make things right. In your mind, you will be doing the right thing and you will be justified. In real life, on the other hand, that correction may be your biggest mistake ever. So, the best way to deal with mistakes in my take, may be rather unorthodox or unacceptable. But I believe that there is no need for anyone to regret making a mistake. Its impossible to go back in time and fix it anyway. I think the best way forward is to sit down and reflect after making that mistake. That reflection will help you calm down, come up with solution and then learn as well as improve from that mistake. This is my humble take. What do you think? |

| body | Your post made me think deeply about how we learn as we grow. Just today, I was talking to this young lady that I used to teach. I told her that I knew about all the bad behaviour when she was at school and that was the reason why I would preach in class about bad behaviour. She was sincere and I am happy she has learnt from her mistakes. I told her not to regret anything as she will never go back to high school. I advised that she learn from the mistakes and move forward. There is no benefit in complaining or crying over spilt milk. I follow exactly the same stance as you, there is no room for regret in this life. We can only move forward by learning from mistakes. When we learn, we convert misfortune to fortune. By learning we become winners. |

| title | Achievement 2 @cryptozimba Task: Basic Security on Steem |
| body | ## Introduction Hie everyone, @cryptozimba is back again with another story. This time I will try not to exaggerate, my story as in my introductory article, or may be I will just do a little. So, I will describe my onboarding journey into the Steemit platform soon after registration. However, my main focus is on security, which was tihter than I expected. When I created my account I thought, I would just onboard and cruise nicely to posting and interacting. Well, I got the surprise of my life, and it proved that Steemit is so much different from traditional blogs and social sites. Let's, dig in! ## I have to retrieve my keys? So, when I joined Steemit, I was so relaxed and thought that it was just creating an account and my password and then straight to posting. Well, I got a very big surprise. Not only was I not given a chance to create a password, it was created for me! So, after clicking the verifying my email and phone, I was taken to a page where I was instructed to retrieve and save keys for my account? Wait, I have to retrieve keys for the account? Should'nt an account get the keys from me? This was giving me very strong crypto wallet vibes. So, followed the instructions as given and managed to retrieve my keys. I downloaded the provided pdf and kept my keys closer to the heart. Initially, I wondered why would I have all these keys? One, is enough right? Well, no! It is not enough! Because there is a key for every occusion. ## Do not just use any key! So, I started reading about these keys, that I had received and I got a little more information. Initially I had wanted to send the document to my gmail email address but I realised I almost burnt a properly cooked roast. So, I promptly abandoned the idea. These keys, were not just keys, but they had a hierarchy and tiers to usage. Right, that's true, each key had a specific purpose starting from the lowest tier to the highest one. Source: AI generated Image The lowest tier was the posting key. This is the key that I use for everyday tasks such as posting, commenting, editing, resteeming as well as following and muting other accounts. This is the key that I use to login everyday due to its limited functions. It makes it esier for me to retrieve my account if it becomes compromised. It also limits the damage done to the compromised account. In terms of authority, above the posting key, we have the active keys. These keys are more suitable for more sensitive tasks such as transfering funds, powering up/down transactions and converting my steem dollars. With this key, I can also vote for witnesses, update my profile and placing market orders. This key is much more sensitive than the posting key, and losing it will deal some damage to your account. The owner key is the only key that you will need to use when neccessary. I am not even tempted to use it, if you see yourself using your owner key to login, know that you are in a very big trouble or you might not be very intelligent to say it lightly. With this owner key, I can change any key of the account include the owner key. Your owner key must be stored in a ver safe place. My rule is to only use this key, when my account has been compromised not anywhere else. The memo key on the other hand is a little different from the other keys, that is why it is not in the hierarchy. A memo key is an encryption key. I use it to encrypt and decrypt memos when I transfer funds. ## Don't just throw your keys around Yes, another rule I gave myself about Steemit security is that I shouldn't throw my keys everywhere. Especially online, I had rather keep them locked up in a box somewhere. Source: AI generated image The problem with these Steemit keys is not that you have them or where they are stored, the bigger problem starts wen you cannot find them. So, it is very important for me to store them safely and securely. This is because if I lose my keys, no one will save my account, not even the steemit support teamm. Lose your keys and you have no account, may be you may have to create another one, now imagine that after all the hard work bulding the account and some steem dollars. The most important thing besides the keys is the master password. Lose this and you are lost. For me, this password together with other keys have been stored in 3 different storages. I have a copy in my secret flash drive and also in my external hard drive disk. In my computer, I also have an encrypted file that stays there. In the case of a hard disk failure, I still have access to my keys. I am also preparing to safely print a copy of my keys that I can keep in my locker box. I prefer having backup allover except online. ## How am I going to transfer Steem to my friend's Steem Account To transfer STEEM from my account to another Steemit account, I need to follow a few steps. The first step is to get the neccessary authority by signing into my wallet area. After that I will navigate to current STEEM section. On this section I will then click on transfer on tthe top of the page. On the next page I will then enter the receiver's username and press next. This is how I can send funds to a Steemit friend. This action requires the use of an active key so, you need to have one. ## I will power my STEEM then I also learnt about how I would power up on Steemit. To power up on Steemit, I will first login into my wallet area. Then I will find how much Steem Dollars I have. I will then click on the little triangle next next to my Steem Dollars. When the menu opens I need to select market option. In the market option, I will enter the buy STEEM option and select the amount I want to use. I will then pass through all the screens including my password. Once I am directed back to the market, i will receive an order placed notification. Once I see my steem balance, I will then cick the littletriangle and this time choose the power up option. This activity requires an active key, as its not possible to power up with posting key. ## Conclusion I will admit that, this journey of learning about security on Steemit was a bit tiresome but also worth it. I learnt to start taking my security online very seriously. I wouldn't want to be a case study of people who lost their accounts because I did not properly take care of my security keys. |

"body": "## Introduction\n\nHie everyone, @cryptozimba is back again with another story. Let's, dig in!\n\n## I have to retrieve my keys?\n\nSo, when I joined Steemit, I was so relaxed and thought that it was just creating an account and my password and then straight to posting. Well, I got a very big surprise. Not only was I not given a chance to create a password, it was created for me!\n\nSo, after clicking the verifying my email and phone, I was taken to a page where I was instructed to retrieve and save keys for my account? Wait, I have to retrieve keys for the account? Should'nt an account get the keys from me? This was giving me very strong crypto wallet vibes. So, followed the instructions as given and managed to retrieve my keys. I downloaded the provided pdf and kept my keys closer to the heart. Initially, I wondered why would I have all these keys? One, is enough right? Well, no! It is not enough! Because there is a key for every occusion.\n\n## Do not just use any key!\n\nSo, I started reading about these keys, that I had received and I got a little more information. Initially I had wanted to send the document to my gmail email address but I realised I almost burnt a properly cooked roast. So, I promptly abandoned the idea. These keys, were not just keys, but they had a hierarchy and tiers to usage. Right, that's true, each key had a specific purpose starting from the lowest tier to the highest one.\n\n\n\nSource: AI generated Image\n\nThe lowest tier was the posting key. This is the key that I use for everyday tasks such as posting, commenting, editing, resteeming as well as following and muting other accounts. This is the key that I use to login everyday due to its limited functions. It makes it esier for me to retrieve my account if it becomes compromised. It also limits the damage done to the compromised account.\n\nIn terms of authority, above the posting key, we have the active keys. These keys are more suitable for more sensitive tasks such as transfering funds, powering up/down transactions and converting my steem dollars. With this key, I can also vote for witnesses, update my profile and placing market orders. This key is much more sensitive than the posting key, and losing it will deal some damage to your account.\n\nThe owner key is the only key that you will need to use when neccessary. I am not even tempted to use it, if you see yourself using your owner key to login, know that you are in a very big trouble or you might not be very intelligent to say it lightly. With this owner key, I can change any key of the account include the owner key. Your owner key must be stored in a ver safe place. My rule is to only use this key, when my account has been compromised not anywhere else.\n\nThe memo key on the other hand is a little different from the other keys, that is why it is not in the hierarchy. A memo key is an encryption key. I use it to encrypt and decrypt memos when I transfer funds.\n\n## Don't just throw your keys around\n\nYes, another rule I gave myself about Steemit security is that I shouldn't throw my keys everywhere. | title | Achievement 1: My introduction post on steemit @cryptozimba |
| body | ## Introduction My user name is @cryptozimba but my real name is Kumbirai Luka. You may find that some of my social media names are either @cryptozimba or @KryptoZimba. My facebook page is in my real name as Kumbirai Luka though. I am happy to have finally joined the STEEMit community. ## A brief life history I was born in a family of 6 boys only and my father is a teacher. I am the oldest in my family ad I have five young brothers. The two eldest brothers are have already finished their university education. I grew up in a rural set up and being the son of a teacher, I killed boredom with reading. Being the oldest son, I juggled between running erands for my stern mother and strict father, and finding a very quite place to catch a few lines from a novel stolen from my father's stash. It didn't take long for my father to learn about his books dissappearing for several hours during the day and reappearing at sunset. He later caught me in the act and promised to get even more books for me. That was the best day of my childhood. From that moment on, my father would borrow books for me and bring them home. And after running errands, I would take a book and dissappear into the hilly stone outcrops near my home. This is where I would lie on top of a rock outcrop like a lizard absorbing words from the pages like a sponge while breathing the fresh scent of nature. Sometimes, I would run away after come face to face with one of the many varieties of forest snakes, but I would come back because of the quite environment. This the background that built me as a writer and a story teller. ## Why I joined STEEMit I have always liked to write and tell stories. I have dabbled around several writing genres. I have written poems and even started a blogspot poetry blog. It should still be there but I discontinued working on it year ago. For some time I was also writing about nutrition and healthy living. I ran a website for this topic and I called it African Nutrition Health Hub. I later on discontinued this project and came back around 2023 with Klucky's Nutrition reviews which I ran for 2 years. I later on stopped writing about nutrition due to monetisation issues in my country. My last blogging website was called Scieconnect. Iwanted to try and disseminate science information to the general public, but I did not go far with it. I still own the domain, though. After that I started diversifying, but settled into financial education, forex trading and cryptocurrencies. I was searching for good write to earn programs, but not the generic ones. Thats when I came across STEEMit, a blockchain based social platform. I decided to try it a few weeks ago. Who says no to blowing some steem? I joined STEEMit to write and share ideas and then meet other writing professionals in the cryptocurrency space. There is a source on top as there is an earning opportunity. ## Education I have studied up to the degree level. This is one of my pictures during my university days. I have a Bsc Hons in Applied Biology and Biochemistry from the NUST, Zimbabwe. In addition to this, I hold an ISO9001:2015 from the standards association of Zimbabwe and an online ISO9001:2015 certificate from Alison. ## Work History I have taken very few professional 5 to 9 jobs in my life. THe largest part of my professional experience is that of a teacher. I taught high school chemistry, biology and combined science for 4 years. After this I went on to become production and quality manager for a year. When I left, I started freelancing, writing blog articles, editing blogs, and social media content generation. That is when I started marketing the name Crypto Zimba as a trader and web 3 enthusiast. ## Hobbies I have very few hobbies, and I hate to call them hobbies because to me, they are a lifestyle. I love to read, I read so much that I think I have read over a 1000 books or stories. I have read so many stories that I no longer remember the tittles. Sometimes I get familiar with a book after reading a few pages and th brain then kicks in to tell me that we have read this before. I also love writing and telling stories. Right now cryptocurrencies, blockchain, web 3 and trading are my life. I take time to read in between. Conclusion This is me @cryptozimba, Kumbirai Luka, a young man from Zimbabwe, who writes. I am looking forward to a meaningful and helpful contribution on STEEMit. My aim and goal is towrite and tell stories, learn from other writers and find solace in a blockchain community. And also, there is no harm in earning a little if there is a chance. |

My facebook page is in my real name as Kumbirai Luka though. I am happy to have finally joined the STEEMit community.\n\n## A brief life history\n\nI was born in a family of 6 boys only and my father is a teacher. I am the oldest in my family ad I have five young brothers. The two eldest brothers are have already finished their university education. I grew up in a rural set up and being the son of a teacher, I killed boredom with reading. Being the oldest son, I juggled between running erands for my stern mother and strict father, and finding a very quite place to catch a few lines from a novel stolen from my father's stash.\n\nIt didn't take long for my father to learn about his books dissappearing for several hours during the day and reappearing at sunset. Sometimes, I would run away after come face to face with one of the many varieties of forest snakes, but I would come back because of the quite environment.\n\nThis the background that built me as a writer and a story teller.\n\n## Why I joined STEEMit\n\nI have always liked to write and tell stories.
