With clashes of head,<br> the ball fell to Lucas Moura at the edge of the box and he unleashed a half volley that was blocked by Gundogan. It was a lucky escape for City there.\n\nSterling lost the ball at the edge of Tottenham's box as Hojbjerg robbed him and found Lucas Moura who raced through and found Son just outside the box. He tried to produce a curling effort and he did but he missed just by a fraction. Another huge relief for City there as Tottenham came close twice to scoring now. The ball actually came off the body of Cancelo but the referee pointed for a goal kick. \n\nThe moment of individual brilliance came for Son in the 55th minute as Bergwijn raced clear on goal and did so well to find Son. Son had it all to do as he gathered the ball and moved on the line just outside the box. He unleashed a brilliant curler that left the goalkeeper rooted on the spot with no chance of saving it. It was a wonderful goal,<br> deserving of a winner. Tottenham dominated City in every department and it shows City are yet to get their groove back. Tottenham deserved the win and they showed class and quality.\n\nBergwijn should have doubled Tottenham's lead when he was sent through after Lucas Moura was clattered into. He was one on one with the goalkeeper but he sent his effort just wide off the target. He should have buried that chance to take the tally on the night for Tottenham to two but the closest he got was the side of the net,<br> much to his disappointment too.\n\nThe game ended 1-0 and it was an horror showing for the Champions.
